I generally do not support the anthropomorphizing of sex toys, but a product of this caliber demands a name and that name is Maverick. This product, sold by Vixen Creations, is a luxury dildo made of 100% medical grade silicone which mimics the sensation of skin. Yes, I too was skeptical at first. Silicone, that feels like skin? Impossible. After some experimentation, I can say they've produced something wonderful that I hope Vixen Creations continues to sell.

Maverick arrived packaged in a large plastic tube intended for storage. The tube has a description of the toy, instructions for care and maintenance, and the company label. According to another member of Eden Fantasys, this silicone is less durable than more firm silicones and Vixen Creations recommends storing their VixSkin products in the tube to help maintain their shape. Also, this silicone collects lint and dust particles very easily. Luckily, they also wash or wipe of without difficulty. I store Maverick in the tube, which is very convenient, but he is so massive it can be cumbersome to squeeze him in just right.

This toy was too large for me to use vaginally, but lathered up in the sink while cleaning him, this toy feels eerily realistic. At first this was so shocking that I screamed for my sister to come in and feel him - before use, of course. Many qualities of the VixSkin sex toys are difficult to describe and must be experienced. I tried valiantly to make things work between Maverick and me. However, Maverick's head was a challenge for me and the increasing girth was closer to pain than enjoyment and I have never been able to insert more than his head.

While I firmly believe Maverick is worth the price, this is a toy for people who enjoy very large toys and are willing to invest in something they know will be appreciated. To those inexperienced with larger toys, my advice is to dip your feet in the water with a less expensive toy and gauge what your body can handle. Although this may sacrifice quality, it will decrease the risk of spending $100.00 on a product you may not be able to use. I wish this is what I had done. This is an extremely high quality, skillfully crafted, and beautiful luxury product that I can not use. Maverick is only a trophy that seems unjustly claimed. Maybe one day he and I can be together, but until then Maverick will only be displayed proudly in my growing toy arsenal.
