The Deep Water G dildo by SSA Glass is as beautiful as it is functional. It has a nice design, a beautiful color, it is made from a wonderful material, and it is fun to play with. With its very modest size, we think this is a toy everyone can love.

The Deep Water G is a glass dildo designed to target the G-Spot. Our measures in at 7 and 1/8 inches. The product page has it being 7 and ¾ inches long. I don’t know if that is a misprint or if there is that much variability in the length of the toy. Of this, there is about 6 inches of insertable shaft. Along the shaft are seven pleasure pumps which provide extra sensation during penetration. They are about 1/8 on an inch in height. The shaft is one inch in diameter, bumps not inclusive. The bulbous head has a blunted tip and a diameter of 1 and 3/8 inches. The shaft is curved ever so slightly with the head being angled up for g-spot targeting. The handle is a ball shaped bulge at the end that is 1 and ¼ inches in diameter. This is big enough to hold onto for thrusting and it provides surprising good control for maximum stimulation. It does, however, get very slick with lubrication.

The Deep Water G is a made from borosilicate glass, more commonly known for its brand name of Pyrex. This material is extremely durable, capable of standing up to extremes in temperature as well as a fair amount of knocking around. (If dropped or banged, be sure to check for any cracks or chips before use….they are unlikely but could happen.) This material is also impervious to all types of lubes be they water-based, oil-based, or silicone. It is also non-porous so it can be completely sterilized by boiling (let it cool before use or touching it) or soaking in a 1:10 bleach to water solution. If taken care of properly this could easily last a lifetime.

Glass is a great material for sensory play. It warms up easily and holds its temperature for a long while. It also can be cooled in ice water for the opposite effect. If playing with temperature with the Deep Water G, please be sure not to cause rapid and drastic changes in temperature (don’t take it from the freezer and drop it in hot water) as it could cause the glass to crack. Being a glass toy, it is very easy to apply firm direct pressure to the g-spot. In fact, if you are not paying attention to your partner, you could end up applying too much pressure. I found it easiest to cradle the Deep Water G between my index and my middle fingers with my thumb on the end of the toy.
