Glass wand - sex toy by WHK GmbH - review by Kim!

I picked this toy for a couple of reasons: Number one, I haven't really had any experience with glass, and number two, it looked like a totally different feel from anything I have ever used before. I was definitely right about that last part. It was more intense than I was expecting, although I am certainly not complaining.

It has a nice long handle (well, it is called a wand) and the end has a bit of an L-shape to it so I suppose this could be used anally although I would be careful. Also being careful would be recommended in general since it is glass and all. This also brings me to another important point. The end is a bit pointy and obviously there is no give so be sure to take it a bit easy when using it vaginally unless you have an iron cervix. The first time I used it, I got a bit too enthusiastic and stabbed my cervix a bit too hard.

The handle end could also be used to hit your g-spot but I am having a difficult time not using the other end at this point to fully test that one out.


Also since it is glass you can use it for temperature play, just use some hot or cold water or pop it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes.

I wouldn't recommend this for a total newbie to sex toys. It's glass so there's no give to it and like I previously mentioned, the texture is more intense than I was expecting. However, since it's glass it is easily cleaned and not smelly. This also means that you probably shouldn't throw it around.

The top has some crazy shape action going on, it sort of looks like candle drippings, and then it has a number of ball-like objects, making for some nice bumpiness. I was a big fan of the new textures that I experienced.

Aesthetically this toy is quite pretty. It's an opalescent orangey gold and the top is visually pleasing as well as physically. To a fairly innocent person, I don't feel that this screams "OMG SEX TOY". It might just sort of leave Grandma wondering what it was and even questioning if it was some sort of weird kitchen implement if you happened to leave it out accidentally.

The size is decent, the circumference is 4 1/2". If it were any larger, I think everything would be far too much. The insertable length is 7 3/4", with another inch added on to hold onto. Again, with the nature of the toy it is easy to beat the crap out of your cervix or other inner parts so be cautious with it. It weighs in at roughly half of a pound so it has some nice heft to it.

The texture of the top and the bead-like shape of the shaft of the toy are amazing. I really cannot find a single complaint about this thing other than maybe cleaning in the crevices.

The wand cleans up quite nicely, rinsing off with warm water and some soap/whatever cleaner you use. There are a few areas you might just want to double check to make sure nothing is trapped in them. You can toss it in the dishwasher, boil it, bleach it, whatever you want to sterilize it. As a result of its ability to be sterilized, you can share it if you'd like after sterilization. I would not, however, suggest sharing during use. It seems like the end could potentially destroy a condom if you got a bit overzealous. I leave it in the designated sex drawer of my shelf. The packaging can be used for storage if you would like; there is some nice foam to cushion it. It's glass so take your pick of lubes. It's 100% safe with any of them. It's also the safest material with a rating of 10.

It came cushioned in foam, inside of a plastic box, which was inside of a black box. I'm tossing the black box and keeping the rest for storage. The box suggested temperature play and instructed how to do so; those were the only "instructions" included with the product. It also seemed that they were trying to use the word "dong" as many times as possible. The box wasn't horribly cheesy and porny like some sex toys are packaged.
