This glass toy will work well for anyone. It works for solo and couples play. It is also looks very discreet for those who need to worry about prying eyes. It can be used vaginally and can also be safely used anally due to the curved part of the cane. It is especially great for beginners because it is both non-threatening looking and is very slim. The only caution needed with this is that you should be careful while thrusting, either vaginally or anally, to avoid accidental bruising.

As with all glass toys, the Candy Cane is non-porous, odorless, tasteless, and has absolutely no give to it. Glass is also great for temperature play. I would recommend putting it in ice water or hot water while being careful to not go too extreme, especially if you are inexperienced with temperature play. The glass of this toy is very smooth with barely noticeable differences where the red overlays the clear glass. This cannot be felt internally and is barely felt with your hands.

The design of this toy is adorable and festive; it actually makes a cute holiday decoration and is very discreet. The long end is 8 inches long, with an insertable length of 7", while the shorter side is only 2 1/2". It has a circumference of 3 1/4" and is 1" in diameter. The smaller size makes it beginner friendly, as does the cute design.

The shape is unique and allows for a variety of uses. The curve makes it safe to use anally and it can also be used for g-spotting with the short side. The red stripes swirl around the clear glass and give a very pretty striped look. It makes the stripes appear to be alternating diagonal directions, which makes me think of it being wrapped with two crisscrossing ribbons.

I got this toy partially because it is pretty and very discreet. I was also curious after reading the reviews about the many fun ways to enjoy this toy. It can be used vaginally although for some, the long end will be a bit too slender to get much out of it. Due to the curve, it is safe to use anally with no worries about it getting sucked in. The shorter end can also be used for g-spot stimulation and can be used to rock against it. This is what excited me most but, unfortunately, it did not work with my anatomy. While it did hit my g-spot very well, it was very uncomfortable to rock against. For some people, I can see this working as a great g-spot toy; it just has to work with your anatomy.

As with all glass toys, it is non-porous and can be bleached (10% solution), boiled, or thrown in the dishwasher to sanitize. Simple toy cleaner or soap and water also works well for cleaning. It is compatible with all types of lube and you won't need much to slick up this toy. I would use a different bag to store it in other than the one that's included. The pouch it comes with has no padding to protect the glass if it gets bumped around or dropped. I ended up making a padded one myself and used the thin red pouch for a different toy I own.

The Candy Cane came wrapped in bubble wrap and was placed inside a red drawstring pouch. With the toy being glass, the minimal packaging bothered me. My toy also came with a few minor scuffs on the glass (which were probably due to the poor packaging). Fortunately, these are very minor and can barely be noticed when running my fingernail across them. I could not detect them with my hands or by running it along my arm, and I have had no issues with using it. Unless I closely examine the toy, I cannot notice it visually either.



The red velvety drawstring pouch has absolutely no padding. This was another thing that disappointed me. However, I do like the pouch, just not for a glass toy. I kept it and have since been using it for a different toy and have made a padded pouch to keep my glass toy safe in. Packaging overall could have been much better, which is why I deducted one star for this toy.

I never thought I'd say these words, but I love using the Candy Cane on my ass. I bought it for g-spot play, but it really shines as an anal toy. It is slim enough for me as a beginner, and is very smooth and comfortable. The curve at the bottom also works well if you have a towel under you so you can steady it and move along it for hands-free fun (or for extra fun if your hands are otherwise occupied). Adding temperature play with this just made it that much more fun.
