You've Got Me Feelin' (H)Ella Good.

The Ella by LELO is a beautiful silicone double-ended dildo. Great for those who have a hard time finding their G-spot. Women rave about her constantly for this reason. Besides that, Ella is a luxurious, yet affordable toy, and a must-have for any woman's toy box.

Use

Ella has no flared base, so you can only use her vaginally. One end is tapered, which is good for slow thrusting or rocking. It also makes insertion a bit easier. The other end has a curved head for easy G-spot stimulation. You should use a fair bit of lube with her; her velvety, matte finish could be painful upon insertion without it.

Material / Texture

Ella is made from 100% silicone. She is odorless, phthalates free, and completely non-proous, which makes cleaning her a breeze. But we'll get to that later.

Ella is velvety smooth and matte to the touch. Her velvety texture gives a really nice bit of drag. The silicone is very firm; it only gives a little at the curved neck so you can adjust her slightly for maximum G-spotting.

Being a silicone toy, she is prone to collecting lint, hair, dust, etc. Make sure to give her a good rinse before using her.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the Ella is awesome. The tapered end has a little bump, which actually hurt me a little the first time I used her. The problem was quickly fixed with just a tad more lube. The curved end works as a nice handle if you have petite hands like me, but it's a bit small and might cause people with larger hands to cramp.

The curved end is designed to make finding your G-spot a breeze. Sadly, I couldn't find mine. But don't let that discourage you! All I've ever heard about the Ella is how amazingly she can find your G-spot. So if you're having a hard time finding yours, the Ella is the dildo for you. Maybe with some patience (of which I have relatively none) and exploring, I'm sure I'll find it. And I'm sure you will too. Don't lose hope!

Performance

Ella performs like a dream. A velvety, luxurious, multi-gasm dream. I, personally, enjoy toys with more give, but Ella broke me of that. Being a girl who MUST have clitoral stimulation, I paired her with my favorite vibrator. Although she is amazing all by her lovely self, Ella is even better with dual stimulation. Who knew there was a level beyond "perfect"?

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning Ella is incredibly easy. All she needs is a bath of hot water and antibacterial soap. LELO, being such a wonderful manufacturer, includes a pretty satin drawstring bag to store Ella in. Or you could keep her in the gorgeous, luxurious black box that she comes in.

Don't forget that Ella is SILICONE, which means lubes with a silicone base is a definite no-no. The chemical reaction will cause the exterior of the toy to become tacky and gross. Use water-based lubes only, please.

Thanks for the review! I really enjoy Ella

Since the g-spot is made of erectile tissue, it's pretty invisible without some quality warmup, so it might take a longer session for a successful hunt. Thanks for the review!

I need to go ahead and get this one already!

Get back with a follow up in a month or so to see if you find your G-spot and how well Ella's working.

@ToyGeek I can only seem to find it when I'm with my boyfriend. Alone, I'm clueless. lol

@Maiden You really should. You won't regret it! :]

Good review.

I did not know Ella came with a storage bag. I bought a little purse to put her in. (Why do we all assume she's a girl?) I just went upstairs, tried not to wake my sleeping Man and got the box. Under the plastic there was my bag. Thank you for that.

Glad you enjoy her. I love mine, too!

You might have better luck finding your G-spot with the Don Wands Bent Graduate or the Njoy Pure Wand. That was how I discovered mine. Once you discover it, it is becomes much easier to "find" it again with other toys. I think it is the extreme hardness (and the extreme curve) of the Bent Graduate and the Pure Wand that enabled me to know I found mine beyond a shadow of a doubt.

  • ella vs. others
    • I want to get ella as my first she doesn't seem as menacing as the others made of glass or metal but are those materials better sensation wise?
    • It comes down to personal preference, really. You're not going to know if glass or metal feels better to you until you try.

A couple things to keep in mind, though: glass and metal have absolutely no give, so they tend to feel bigger than silicone toys of the same size. They're also rather heavy in most cases, and so you need to be a bit more careful when you use them. Being too rough can result in internal bruising. They're very slick and smooth, though, unlike silicone which typically has some drag to it.

The Ella is pretty rigid for a silicone toy, but it's very light and easy to use. It's great if you're new to dildos. :)

I have not tried anything like that I hear alot of good things and alot of not so good things. its up to you to try and see what you prefer..

  • How Does Lelo Ella compare to Gigi?
    • I know that Ella doesn't vibrate, but are there many other differences? I am wondering whether the Ella might be a better shape or size for g-spot stimulation
    • i'm wondering this too. i bought gigi and was disappointed but ella seems even better should I or shouldn't I?

  • Would the Ella work well for a beginner?
    • I'm thinking of getting my bestfriend this for Christmas but she is new to toys. Would this be a good toy to give a newbie? I have not tried it myself so I'm not sure how easy it is to master.
    • I have the similarly shaped Gigi and found nothing but frustration when trying to thrust with it.
    • i think it would be a good option for a beginner.

  • I need help the Ella curve is doing me in.
    • I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have read every review and some twice. I can not figure this girl out. I want to write a review but, how can I write a review on something I do not get. Any ideas would be wonderful. Please help me enjoy this beautiful toy.
    • What do you not get about it? Not every toy works for every woman. Does it hurt to use? Maybe your vagina is too small for it yet or maybe you just need some lube. Do you not feel anything? Again, nothing is for everyone. Try sqeezing the toy by doing kegels when you use it. Some women say that makes things feel better. Or maybe try tilting it up towards your g-spot. That works for me with other toys.

I haven't used it yet. Just recently purchased a white Ella. And I can't wait! We've got the same name! :D
    • If you don't get it you can still write your review from that perspective. I'm sure you wouldn't be the only one who had that experience with it. I have the Ella and she's nice but she's not fireworks for me and that's ok. We all have different experiences with toys and that is what makes these reviews so valuable.

  • Dildo vs. Vibrator
    • I am having a hard time getting used to the idea of a dildo vs. a vibrator! As far as using one goes, how does one decide which is better for oneself? Just wondering and thanks!

What I mean by this I think is, is it easier with one than the other, or maybe does it require a different mind set or even is one better with partner play vs. solo? I don't know, LOL, just curious.
    • When we started with toys it was all about clit vibes for 'effective' reliable orgasms. But as we got into g-spot and a-spot stimulation, dildos have advantages over vibes because pressure is more important than vibes.

Now we almost always have some of both going on. A dildo for internal and a clit vibe for external - although she occasionally likes two vibes.

The only truism I've found is that what she wants/needs is different almost every time. I use to think 'this worked last time - so lets do it again' - but now I think 'we did that last time - what can I do to mix things up'.

That's why we have dozens of toys - both vibes and dildos.

  • Ella for beginners
    • Hey! I was just wondering if Ella would be something an absolute beginner could use, someone who's never gone looking for her g-spot before. She seems awfully tempting, but I wonder if I it's too advanced a toy for me?

Ella is perfect for beginners. I had tried several other G-spot toys before Ella. Ella was the first one that worked for me. Several people have had their first successes with Ella.

I'm glad Ella seems like such a successful toy! I hope she works for me, too <3

  • Ella and Gigi
    • I've had both the Ella and the Gigi sitting in my shopping cart for days now. I was wondering.. should I get them both, or should I maybe just get one to try, then maybe later on get the other if I want?

They both seem so worth it, it's hard to just pick one!

I just bought the Ella and have not tried it yet, but everyone seems to love it. I have had the GiGi for a couple of months and rarely use it, mainly because the control thing is located in the worst possible spot, and I invariably hit it and make the settings change! Argh! I also had no luck with it for g-spot stimulation, and the only times I get it out it is for clit work.

Even though I wasn't crazy about GiGi, it seems to do the job for a lot of people, so it might work for you. In fact, I bought it based on all the wonderful reviews. I've come to the conclusion that there is no one toy that will do the trick for everyone. Everyone is VERY different in their tastes and what they need.
    • I agree that no toy is good for everyone. I can not get a rabbit vibe that actually works for me by stimulating my clit and vag at the same time. Perhaps its operator error.
Anyway, I love the Gigi. I solved the control issue for me anyway by wiping the lube off the control and my fingers...success. The effectiveness of the Gigi is the vibe plus the design. I don't have the Ella, which is not a vibe but I see it as similar to many of the g spot dils available.
