The Form 2 is a premium silicone, waterproof, rechargeable vibrator made exclusively for clitoral use. We rarely buy toys with such a limited potential. All of our other clit vibes can also be used for insertion - however the unique design of the Form 2 eventually drew us in.

Having read the reviews, we were certainly aware of both it's potential and limitations. As you may have read in other reviews, the Form 2 has a 'bug' that has been accurately described by other reviewers as 'chaos mode'. Honestly for a high-end company JimmyJane's response to the problem is very disappointing. Although we are pleased with the Form 2 - we've decided to take our business elsewhere. Thankfully there is an increasing number of high end toy makers introducing quality products without the 'bug'.

The Form 2 is made from premium matte finish silicone. All you silicone fans out there know it is the gold standard for body-safe materials. Silicone is odorless and non-porous and can be easily sterilized using alcohol or diluted bleach solution - even put in a dishwasher - although I wouldn't recommend the dishwasher option. Not only is it overkill, the extreme alkali and heat of the dishwasher could damage or shorten the life of the silicone.

The Form 2 has no texture - it's stimulation comes from it's unique shape and power.

One look at the Form 2 and you can clearly see it's intended use. Simply put you turn it on and set the prongs aside your clit and enjoy!

At just 3" of overall length the Form 2 is very discrete and easy to conceal and is east to travel with. Each of the prongs are 1" long and are separated by just enough space (1/4") to fit a clitoris between.

The other feature that makes this gem great for travel is that if your trip is for less than 2 weeks, you can charge it up, then leave the charger at home and still have plenty of power for your intimate activities.

For a multi-feature high end vibe, the Form 2 is actually fairly easy to use - but none the less, like many modern vibes, it pays to read the instructions. The Form 2 has a motor in each prong - but they are not controlled separately. When you turn on the vibe it starts with level 1 of the continuous vibration mode, a good starting point - but you'll likely need a higher level to reach orgasm. The Form 2 has plenty of power - even my wife who likes a lot of power can orgasm at levels between 3-4.

To add variety there are three (3) additional vibration modes (4 total). There a little hard to describe because with the two motors - they all tend to feel like a variation on pulsing - but here's an attempt to describe them.

Oscillate - vibrations alternate between motors - left to right to left, etc
Surge - the motors vibrate in unison from faster to slower to faster, etc
Pulse - the motors rapidly switch between faster to slower to faster, etc

My wife isn't a fan of patterns - but she says the Surge mode on a high setting makes it feel like her clit is being hammered from both sides - very intense and very effective.

As you may have read the Form 2 has another 'unexpected' or 'chaos' mode. Fairly often when you press the two prongs into action - the vibe goes into chaos mode. The normally quiet vibe gets noisy and starts vibrating randomly. When this happens my wife has to shut it off to start over again. This flaw is the reason we rate the Form 2 at 4 starts not 5.

In spite of it's 'chaos' flaw - the Form 2 has many great things worth noting:
Rechargeable - the charge lasts for at least 2 weeks even with regular use
Waterproof - the Form 2 is fully submersible
Discrete - the Form 2 is very travel friendly
Quiet - the sound is nearly undetectable - except when it unexpectedly jumps into 'chaos'
Powerful - level 3 or 4 should be enough for most - but level 5 is there for those who need really high power

For a vibe with so many features, the controls are simple and easy to use. You simply press the + button to start things out, and the vibe is smart enough to start where you left off the last time! Then you simply press the + or - buttons to change the intensity. To change modes you simply press the ~ button. It's actually simpler than most rabbit vibe controllers.

The Form 2 couldn't be easier to take care of. It only needs to be charged every couple of weeks. After each use I just throw it in the sink and wash it with hot soapy water. Because it's used for external clitoral stimulation only - lubrication isn't absolutely necessary - but if you want or need lube - just avoid silicone lubes. Your favorite oil or water based products should work fine.

The internal lithium polymer battery is relatively light weight, long lasting and easy to charge. The charging cradle has two small prongs that contact a metal plate on the From 2. A light on the Form 2 lets you know when the charge is taking place and when its done.

My wife usually passes judgement on a vibe within the first few minutes - but the Form 2 took a little longer to figure out. The first time we tried to use the Form 2 - it jumped into 'chaos' mode making too much noise and vibrating wildly. She tossed it aside and grabbed a replacement. Oh no - I'm thinking another expensive flop!

However much to my surprise, during our next encounter she gave it another go. This time she got a bit more out of it - but 'chaos' returned and she set it aside again.
