I was extremely excited to try out the jelly rapture nubby on my girlfriend. Particularly, I was interested in seeing if it could do anything for her elusive g-spot (this has been an ongoing epic journey for me). In the end, I was unable to produce much excitement in the g-spot, but it wasn't because of the vibe itself ( I will explain later in the review).

The packaging was typical Cal Exotics packaging. There was a picture of some exotic looking model, with her mouth open and eyes squinting in an apparent moment of ecstasy. I was a little disappointed in how insecure the packaging was. The plastic packaging "snapped together," so anyone could open the package, do something with the vibe, and put it back in without the customer ever knowing anything about it. That's not to say that I think anything did happen to it... but with sex toys, I actually want to experience that impossible to open plastic. It's just a peace of mind thing.

As for the toy itself, I was impressed. I didn't have too many expectations, because it seems just like a typical vibe. However, sometimes simple is better. I struggled a little bit with the battery installation. I was most impressed with the material and how pliable it is. When you push on it, the material acts almost like a cushion. It isn't super firm like many other vibes. My girlfriend said she liked this most about the Jelly Rapture. She also liked the textured head on her clit, which provided an awesome feeling for her. This is what eventually made her cum.

I did a sound check on the vibe before beginning, and found that behind a closed door, it was difficult to hear on its medium setting, which was much appreciated since I live with roommates.

However, if I were to guess, I would anticipate the ridges on the shaft to be extremely pleasurable.

While I was disappointed that I wasn't able to use this vibe to work my girlfriend's g-spot, I certainly don't blame the vibe. I'm very pleased with many aspects of the toy, and how well it got the job done on the clit. I would certainly recommend this vibe.
