The Mega Nubby is made out of Pyrex Glass and hence is extremely safe. Due to the non-porous nature of the material it can easily be shared between partners or different orifices — of course one should always practice safe sex and completely disinfect all products when sharing them. This is made infinitely easier due to Pyrex — simply requiring a quick clean with soap and water. This was especially important to us as we enjoy using this both anally (Note: warning about this down the article) and vaginally.

Pyrex glass can also be used for temperature play and retains heat and cold relatively well. Though care must be taken before inserting the dildo — the last thing anyone needs is to singe his or her insides! Also never freeze this dildo, if you want to experience the cooler sensations then simply let the dildo sit in a fridge or cold water until it reaches the desired temperature.



The Mega Nubby arrived in a clear plastic case with the dildo clearly visible from the outside. Included with the dildo were a sample pack of wet lubricant and a pink storage pouch.



The storage pouch was a great surprise, as we always tend to worry about dinging or damaging our glass toys. By keeping the dildo in its padded pouch we can be sure that it will be protected against most things and will also keep it clean.






Don Wands went for a traditional straight shape with this dildo and have not added any curves or angles to it. This means that this dildo is not suitable for those who are looking for something designed especially for G-spot stimulation. The Bent Graduate|, by the same company, will be a better choice for those who are seeking more intense G-spot stimulation.

Though this does not mean that the Mega Nubby is without its own special features. What it lacks in exotic curves, it more than makes up for its little raised nubs or bulges. Each bulge acts as a tiny massager as the dildo slowly makes it way inside. Not only that, but simply rotating the dildo can also cause an almost euphoric feeling when used anally!



Though it should be noted that when using this dildo anally the user has to be extremely careful as this dildo does not have a flared base and can easily get lost inside the body. While the resulting hospital visit might amuse the staff and make for an interesting sitcom situation (“Look it’s a rainbow coming out of her ass!!”) it will more than likely ruin the night and possibly future interactions with this dildo.

Another factor, which only increases the odds of losing this rectally, is that just a small dab of lube will make it extremely slippery and quite easy to lose grip of the dildo. We tend to find ourselves reverting to this dildo more and more, especially when warming up for bigger anal toys. We would love to use this toy with our Liberator Bon Bon, but are scared that the glass might break (though its very unlikely as pyrex glass is an extremely resilient material), so we have avoided doing that.
