Use

The LAYAspot is a curvy vibrator that is designed for clitoral and labial stimulation. Perfect for those who are new to using sex toys, the LAYAspot work well without having to enter the body. The curvaceous shape of this vibrator matches the slope of the vulva, which allows the gentle vibrations to directly stimulate both the inner and outer lips as well as the clitoris.

I like to use the LAYAspot when I am laying in bed or on the couch. I may be watching television or reading a book. Perhaps I'll also enjoy a glass of wine and piece of chocolate. I slide the vibrator between my legs (if I am dressed, than I'll slide it into my panties). I open my legs just enough for the LAYAspot to nestle into place, and let the toy do its work.

Material / Texture

Made of Elastomed, the LAYAspot is very easy to clean. It is non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free. While it comes with lubricant this vibrator can be used without it, depending on your preference.

Design / Shape / Size

Small in size, the LAYAspot can fit in your hand. If you need to hide it in a flash, you can easily do so by tucking it in a drawer or even under your pillow. I have used my LAYAspot on myself and with a couple of my girlfriends, and can vouch for the fact that however you are shaped or however much you may (or may not) weigh, does not change the effectiveness of this toy.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The LAYAspot has multiple speeds that vary from a soft vibration to a heavy pulse. While not silent as it is advertised to be, it is rather quiet as vibrating sex toys go. The LAYAspot is said to be waterproof, but I haven't tested this function. The battery area seems to close of nicely however, and I have no reason to doubt that this may be true. If I were to change anything, it may be to have it weigh a little more, so that I could feel the weight of it on my vulva but really this is a picky detail. Overall, I love the LAYAspot and highly recommend it.

Care and Maintenance

The LAYAspot is very easy to clean. Simply remove the batteries and wash with soap and hot water. If you use a lubricant be sure that it is water based, the safest and most hygienic choice for you and most of your toys.

      not sure but we have the Laya and the better than chocolate ( the music ed) both have their good points, but the laya is a little smaller and compact. Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

      Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?

      Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).

      Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?

      Just looking for different experiences with these things..

      I've heard that fun factory toys can stink to high heaven, and I have no idea why they would because they're supposed to be 100% silicone. I have other silicone toys and they don't smell at all. Maybe it's not the toy itself but the packaging that surrounds it? Sorry I'm not much help, but the smell that people talk about with FF toys is enough for me to be wary of buying one.

      I have since pitched my instructions, but I think mine said splashproof rather than waterproof. I got the Toyfluid (water-based) lube, and mine was smell-free! All of my FF toys have been totally odorless, actually.
