The k-y yours and mine set is intended to be used during intercourse, although it can also be used with toys for an interesting experience. This product will work for anyone who does not have exceptionally sensitive skin, although I could certainly see how some skin types might not react very well to it. If either partner has sensitive skin or has had uncomfortable reactions to similar lubes. I would advise ether something else, or trying it in a small area first.

I did not experience a warming sensation, as the package claims, but I will address that further on. This lube set is certainly not limited to the bedroom, as it can be used in all kinds of locations. But the lube can get sticky fairly easily, as we found while camping.

Both parts of the set pour out pretty thickly, with a consistency similar to hair gel. A good amount of lubrication was evident, but nowhere near as slick as silicone lube. After 15-20 minutes, it became sticky, which is far too quickly for me. Despite the apparent viscosity of the lube, it still managed to leak out of the bottles that it comes in; and the fact that the bottles neither have a flat bottom or a stand ensured that they would leak continually.

The 'for him' part smelled minty, and it felt minty as well. The 'for her' part smelled like antiseptic. The aroma could have been improved, certainly. And for the price, I expected a lot more in that area. I can not say what the 'for him' lube tastes like, but the 'for her' lube tastes slightly sweet, and makes your tongue tingle.

Neither what I experienced or what my wife described as a "minty peppery flavor" were especially unpleasant, but again I was underwhelmed by what the set offered for the approximately $25.00 USD that we paid for it.

Again, the product only lasted perhaps 15-20 minutes before needing reapplication. For me, this is a major handicap and interrupts the mood and flow of things. Having to reapply the lube in between foreplay and intercourse was a significant speed bump. After 15-20 minutes, it becomes very sticky. At times, it needed to be rinsed off before being reapplied.

The experience on my part was supposed to be warming; I never felt a warming sensation. I felt a cooling sensation, which was not unpleasant but is supposed to be different than what I experienced. My wife experienced a tingling sensation and found it to be pleasant except for the necessity of reapplication. The whole "when they get together" line about supposedly making the experience better was simply not there. I felt nothing more, as my member was already partially numb from the strange cooling feeling.

Afterwards, I found that I had to wash myself with soap to remove the sticky residue, and if it got on any toys, those had to be cleaned very well.

The packaging is perhaps the best aspect of the product, although this is likely a reason why it costs as much as it does. It comes in a very well-made black box with snazzy pictures on the outside, and both tubes are in a black plastic collar. There are small bumps on each tube that snap into the collar. Unfortunately, the tubes are round on the bottom, and if you store them on the lid or the side, they have a tendency to leak. Due to the hard plastic tubes, the lubes aren't especially easy to dispense either.

Supposedly the lubes have a warming effect (for him) and a tingling effect (for her). I did not experience a warming effect, and if intercourse lasted an especially long time, the cooling sensation was borderline painful. In my experience, the special features did not perform as well as advertised. However, my wife reported that the tingling sensation was as well as advertised.

I will not be purchasing this set again. I do not happen to have anywhere to store them without them leaking everywhere, and the hassle of trying to reapply continually makes the experience miserable. I really do not recommend this product, especially as there are so many other good products on the market.

My experience is that the product does not work as well as it should. It gets sticky quickly, leaks everywhere, is impossible to store and difficult to dispense. I had to scrub our toys, scrub myself and scrub the bottles after every usage. I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the neat packaging and visuals do not a quality product make.
