Lucid dream 39 - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by BBW Talks Toys

I purchased this product several months ago as a surprise for my husband while shopping for a bachelorette party (not my own!).

My husband and I usually only use toys together, so when searching for a product, we tend to look for things that we can use on each other, rather than just solo-play. This toy is good for both, however.

We took it home, opened it up, inserted the 2-AAA batteries and ramped it up! I was very surprised by how quiet it is. Under the covers, you cannot hear it at all, and it is barely audible out in the open, so it makes for very discreet play; especially in the daytime if you lock yourselves away while the kids are home! It did have a slight plastic smell to it, but a quick rinse with some water (or your favorite cleaner) does wonders for the smell.

How smooth it is definitely helps for insertion, but I recommend using a generous amount of water-based lubrication, especially if you are unshaven, because the jelly material can absorb your natural moisture. I also recommend a liquid lube like KY or Astroglide because the jelly lubes tend to harden on the toy... it was very weird and pretty gross.

Once we got it going, I definitely enjoyed the toy. I don't generally orgasm with just g-spot stimulation, so we definitely used a different vibe for clitoral stimulation (using fingers works too). And what an orgasm! The vibrations from the Lucid Dream #39 were a little soft, but it was nice and not overwhelming for me (as I prefer stronger vibrations on my clit, rather than inside my vagina). The head of the vibrator is thick enough that it mimics, again for me, about two fingers of my husband's hand, so it was definitely filling and satisfying.

Coming across the Harmonia and the Amethyst have made this toy obsolete. In fact, so much so that I have already thrown it away! I have now said a "Bon Voyage" to jelly and it will never taint my toy box again! I did also realize that the vibrations were part of the problem with using it (aside from the icky material). It just wasn't strong enough to stimulate my G-spot the way I like. I'd bump this down to a 2.5 if I could.
