The We-Vibe Salsa comes in a white cardboard box with the instruction manual, satin pouch, power cable and charging connector. It is made of smooth plastic with the words 'We-Vibe Salsa' embossed along the base. I don't even notice the words when I am playing with the toy. There are no seams on Salsa, so if you're sensitive to seams this toy is perfect for you! The base and push button on the toy are made of what appears to be silicone. I have the red one and just love the color. Salsa is small, discreet, and measures a little over 3 1/4 inches and has a 3/4 inch diameter. Salsa's size is much like the size of my middle finger but it is a little bit wider. Salsa also features a nice pointed tip for pinpoint stimulation. Salsa is waterproof and allows for easy cleanup with soap and warm water or toy wipes. Only water based lubes should be used with it.


Salsa operates with a push of a single button at the base and remembers your last setting when you turn it on again. Each push of the button changes the vibration pattern. If you hold the button in for a few seconds it will turn off (and remember your setting) or if you just cycle through the 8 settings it will turn off too. I did found it a little difficult to turn Salsa off sometimes with holding in the button so it might be easier just to cycle through the settings. Salsa comes with a total of 8 vibration settings. Settings 1-4 are steady vibrations at increasing intensities. Settings 5-8 are different vibration patterns consisting of a variable pulsing pattern, rollercoaster setting, fast pulsing and another pulsing pattern.

Salsa charges with a magnetic connector at the base and doesn't lay flat so it can roll around while charging and accidentally come off the charging connector. I have had this happen a few times, but as long as you don't touch it while it's charging it's fine. I generally just keep my Salsa on the charger so it's ready to go when I am. The only complaint I have is that I like to use it on the highest setting and sometimes during a long play session Salsa doesn't switch vibration settings. It tries to but I think there's just not enough power to start the vibrations back up again because when I charge it for a few minutes (~5 minutes) and try again it's fine. I tend to just keep it on the same setting now until I'm done to avoid that issue.

I absolutely love this vibe. Right now it is my go to vibe if I want an orgasm. Other vibes just don't seem to have the power I need like this one.
