The Lick is a cute little vibe. It fits easily in the palm of your hand, is tapered in the shape of a tongue with a pointy tip, and it’s made of smooth Intramed material. The Lick is also relatively quiet while still providing a good strong vibration.

The first thing I did when I opened The Lick was give it a quick cleaning with a good spray cleanser. Because of the smooth Intramed material it was really easy to clean and it wiped dry really well.

The Lick has one speed/strength of vibration that is controlled by a push button on the base. For such a small toy it has a surprisingly strong vibration! Because of the tapered shape of The Lick, it is great for providing strong targeted vibration to a specific area. I found that it is indeed a really great vibe for clitoral stimulation but since the vibrations were so targeted and so strong I needed to use the side of the vibrator or else the vibration was uncomfortably strong! I found that with a little experimentation I could find a comfortable position but my husband had a slightly more difficult time using it on me. The vibe was a little small for his big hands and the vibrations were strong enough that occasionally he would move it around and it would be too much for me.

The Lick is small enough that it is relatively unobtrusive for use during sex with a partner. It can easily be added to missionary or doggy style sex. It’s a little short for insertion and I found the vibrations during insertion to be too strong but it might be nice used for insertion without the vibrations on. The packaging suggests that The Lick is great for anal play which is not something that I experimented with but I certainly wouldn’t rule out the option for other couples. The Lick is also waterproof which provides another avenue for sexy fun.

All in all, I found The Lick to be a nice alternative to some of the other clitoral stimulators on the market. It will be good for occasional use but I don’t see it becoming one of my favorites.

A quick word about the material, after a little bit of research I found out that Intramed is fully recyclable and reprocess-able! If you are looking for a more eco-friendly toy option, I would certainly consider this material!
