Roulette All on red - I can't think of more cumbersome title. The good news is that's the only bad thing I have to say about this high quality, solidly made vibrator! For simplicity's sake, I'll just use the abbreviation RR (Red Roulette) when referring to the toy.

We purchased the RR as a replacement for my wife's go-clt vibe - Lanny's vivid dreams. Although not silicone the TRP vibe was affordable and effective. After breaking her second one - she asked me to 'get a couple', so ordered two. Bad idea - as I've seen with other toys in the past, for some reason newer versions sometimes have design changes or manufacturing flaws that make them less useful than the original. Both of the new vivid dreams were duds - I should have returned them. This has recently happened to me again with the purchase of a new Decadent Indulgence - I am returning the new one - which is far less powerful than the original design - but I digress!

Back to the RR. My wife is not a fan of patterns. When she's using a clit vibe, she's just looking for the right level of steady power, so cycling through a myriad of patterns is a distraction for her. This is one reason the RR is a great toy for her. The simple but effective roulette wheel makes dialing in the proper level of vibes so easy!

I was really tempted to buy the Bet on Black version of this toy - but reading a great review by ~LaUr3n~ saved me! Just as she described, the taper of the RR works well for penetration. This is another reason for choosing the RR. We looked at clit vibes like the Form 2, Mimi and Siri - all great, but not as versatile as a vibe like the RR which can be used for penetration or clit vibration. We're going to try a Form 2 some day soon - but the RR at half the price is a great option.

Internally the RR is adequate - but not a stand out performer. Because the shaft is straight, G-spot stimulation is minimal and it isn't long enough to achieve effective a-spot stimulation. So I expect that 99% of the time the RR will be use as a clit vibe - but that was the plan in the first place.

The RR is constructed with premium quality silicone. The silicone is firm - but not hard. Like all premium silicone there is no smell, its very hygienic and a snap to clean. Although the RR does have texture, it doesn't seem to be designed for any particular 'effect'. But it is noticeable when thrusting. Smooth silicone can feel like 'soft glass' - but the texture on the RR adds enough sensation that you know its there.

Externally this toy would be good for use by all women from beginner to advanced - however for penetration it's definitely in the intermediate category - too large for many beginners and definitely not going to satisfy size queens.

The waterproof design and simple roulette wheel variable speed controller are the essence of a simple and effective design. The lack of complexity is the greatest feature of the RR. We expect it to last a very long time because it's made so well, water will not corrode any components and the silicone is nearly indestructible.

The question of travel friendly comes up often. From my perspective there is no issue with putting this in your checked bag. The TSA is going to know what they're looking at - but that doesn't bother me. Would I put it in a carry on? No - I wouldn't want to risk the embarrassment.

The internal vibe bullet is located near the tip - which is a must for an effective clit vibe. The vibrations are continuously variable - as opposed to discreet levels. With fresh batteries, she didn't need to go to the max setting - which is good to know because that means that when the batteries start to wear - there is some up-side power available. It's also useful on those days when you just need more power to get the job done!

We don't do a lot in the tub or shower - but in the shower the we had no issues with water leaking and the power was plenty strong enough to give her a nice wet orgasm. Likewise when we tried the tub, the RR battery compartment stayed dry and the vibes adequate for orgasm.

Our kids are older now - so noise is less of an issue. However loud toys are still a distraction and our son is still in the next room. We couldn't be more pleased with the power-to-noise ratio.

This is my first toy from Evolved - and I've become a big fan. Premium materials and premium workmanship are a go-to combination. I will be keeping an eye out for their new designs and trying them out.

We use hot soap and water - clean up is a snap. It's just one of the many reasons to go with silicone. Making it even easier is the waterproof design making it easier to thoroughly clean the RR.

Our oil-based Yes lube cleans up easily - as I am sure water-based lubes will. But you all know not to use silicone lubes with silicone toys.

The box included with the RR is premium. The only way to improve it would be to make it silk lined like the Njoy boxes. I think Evolved didn't do that because they seemed to be going for a more modernistic look and feel - and they pull it off well. For those who like to store their toys in their original boxes - this one is ideal. The clear plastic box has cool metal clasps to keep your toy secure and looking great.

My favorite thing about this toy is simplicity - so once you figure out how to get the batteries inside, your good to go. The installation instructions are very good and the inside + - markings take the guess work out of changing batteries.

All in all top notch.

I don't think you can get more for you money - simple, elegant and exceptionally well made. Even if you're a fan of complex vibration patterns - buy the RR for when your feeling a bit lazy and just want to get off quickly and easily!

We're batting 100% with the RR - it works every chance you give it!
