One of the key features of these smart balls is the "it's my little secret" factor. No one will know if they're in at work, the grocery store, etc. If you plan to do a lot of walking or moving around, say a yoga workout, the smart balls will be perfect. While standing still you won't be able to feel much of anything, almost in the same sense a tampon doesn't arouse most typically.

However, once you start to move around, you will be able to feel them. I suggest using them at home for the first time, just in case they cause you to feel uncomfortable or self-conscience. For example, jog in place and see how it feels. You won't get the full effect, but you can gauge your comfort level at that time. You'll really feel the benefit and purpose of these smart balls while you're doing some interesting physical activity however.

These smart balls are firm, they hold their shape and have a solid feel in your hand. The inner workings are covered by a smooth and soft plastic-y material. I only noticed the slight "just out of the package" clean plastic smell when I open them. The string on the end, for removal, is sturdy. I do not think there is much danger of the string breaking, or tearing during removal, because it is a nice solid rubber string. I would say that because of their hard firm shape, that this is not a total novice toy. However, they are simple to insert and remove, and as long as you are ready for a solid insertable, you really can't go wrong. It is a great shape and design, for getting used to new sensations in your pelvic area, and opening up your awareness to those muscles.

The magic of these smart balls is hidden to the consumer; inside each nodule there is one freely moving, weighted ball. When this internal weight shifts around, you can feel it. It's very similar in concept to the Chinese therapeutic hand balls, which when shifted properly in your hand makes a low pattern of sounds. These smart balls are very discreet, do no require batteries or recharging, as they are fully operated by your internal muscles. They are hands free and you're the only one that needs to know when you're using them.

If you are expecting a wild ride, or desire an intense internal experience, this is not the toy for you. These smart balls are subtle and take awhile to get used to. I did not achieve much arousal when using them, only heightened awareness of my pelvic area.

It is interesting to feel them when jogging, compared to walking through the grocery store. I was more pleased to know that the toy was totally discreet, and my own little secret when out and about. I suggest popping these in throughout the day if you plan to have an eventful night with your partner, as your awareness will heighten every experience and touch.

This toy is very easy to take care of. I use specially formulated wipes after each use and they stay very clean. It is not a squishy or absorbent material, so the risk of bacteria hiding is relatively low if you clean them. If they have been sitting away for awhile without use I recommend a rinse before usage. As always, regularly sanitizing this toy in hot water will make them much safer for use and longer lasting. They are easy to store as they are not affected by silicone or any other materials in my 'toy drawer'. And I find they work fantastically with any lube I own.

This toy can be an exciting toy for mild dominance and submission play. For instance, being required to have them in for a certain period of time can be a pleasurable challenge.
