Romantic lace babydoll - babydoll and panties set by Leg Avenue - review by markeagleone

This Lace babydoll and G-string set made by Leg Avenue was an impulse purchase. My wife and I have had good luck when it comes to Leg Avenue products. I chose this set in red, for the sole reason that I loved the way she looked in her Lace Red Teddy & Stocking Set also by Leg Avenue.

It came in a box with a picture of a blonde model wearing it on both sides(the black version). It states it is a 2 piece Romantic Lace Open Front Babydoll with G-String. Although there is a small heart shaped opening in the front,to show color, the box would make an excellent storage case for the outfit. It states is made in Taiwan of 100% nylon. Nylon is 100% hypo-allergenic so anyone should be able to wear this beautiful Lace Babydoll and G-string Set.

The care instructions on the box are to hand wash in warm water, use non chlorine bleach when needed and drip dry, and do not use an iron. My wife usually washes with a very mild soap as well. The G-string did, however, accidentally make it into the washer and the dryer. It did survive both, coming out a little frizzy in places along the waistband. Another surprise was that the red color did not "bleed" into any other clothing.

The size of this two piece is a one size fits all. The babydoll has two shoulder straps and it is sewn securely in the center of the breasts, which allows the babydoll to drape open in a upside-down "V" shape. This allows the stomach to be partially shown. The back is a solid piece that covered her rear end. When she moved,the babydoll seems to have a floating appearance. Both the baby doll and the g-string have a elegant pattern to it.

The nylon fabric is remarkably soft on the babydoll...The fabric, including the elastic shoulder straps, has a lot of stretch to it due to the nylon. There is no breast support for this garment. The stitching at the seams and shoulder straps is of very good quality.

After seeing my wife in this, I realized that maybe it was not the best thing for her. She still looked beautiful in it, but I could see that she was not feeling confident about the piece. We have kids, and they were c-section. She has a confidence problem with her belly. To me, anything she wears, or doesn't wear, is beautiful to me.

Which brings me to my last point before her part. The open design and the stretch of the material would have been perfect for when she was pregnant. I wish I had known this site and this particular outfit before our boy came along. She didn't feel sexy when she was pregnant and this outfit would have proven her wrong!

*I was a bit gun shy on how this one was going to look. I had hopes that it would cover more of my stomach area. The babydoll is easily slips over my head and elegantly drapes down my sides. The material was really soft which surprised me because it looked like it would be scratchy.

The G-string fit fine and covered what I wanted it to, which is a bonus to this outfit. It is about 6in by 4in not stretched and very well sewn.

The few problems I had with this babydoll set was purely me and not the product. This garment did not flatter my body at all. I have had a C-section so the babydoll did not cover up this flaw on me because of the way it hangs. The G-string does not come up high enough in the front to cover it either. Then, add the extra weight from having a baby a few months ago and it was making me very self conscious and not sexy at all.

Then you add the fact that my breasts(34B in cup size)could not come close to filling out this garment. I believe that this babydoll set was designed for the more endowed. Had I worn this when I was pregnant it would have been stunning.

The design is almost like a floral vine, it makes the babydoll look very elegant and sexy.

Again, I am leaving this follow-up for my wife to do.

It is not that I hate this lace babydoll or even hate it now. It was something that I did not find flattering or sexy as I wore it. I still have this garment tucked away in a drawer, with the hopes that one day I will be able to find it pleasing to the eye, on my body.
