A Sirious letdown!
Siri is a gorgeous rechargeable clitoral vibrator from Lelo, but her vibrations were just way too diffuse to get me over the edge. The shape isn't ideal for pinpoint stimulation, and the matte silicone felt uncomfortable draggy on my bits. On the other hand, I did find that the vibration patterns were more intense than other toys I owned, and those were fun to play with.Published: January 27, 2012
Pros:
Beautiful Lelo design and packaging, quiet, six vibration patterns, rechargeable
Cons:
Vibrations weren't strong enough to get me off, awkward shape for my body, not waterproof
I was inspired to buy Siri after I fell in love with Nea. I had tried a friend’s Siri on my hand and was impressed by the strength of the rumbly vibrations, which seemed comparable to the Nea, in a bigger toy. Well, sometimes bigger isn't better. While Siri and Nea are basically comparable in power, the vibrations are spread across a much bigger surface area in the Siri, which makes them feel weaker and somewhat diffuse.
Siri is 3.5 inches long and egg shaped, with a white plastic handle with a charger port and control buttons, and a silicone tip that vibrates. It definitely looks like a sex toy and is not particularly discreet, but it's small enough to slip into a pouch and easily hide away. She comes in Purple (which I picked), Red, and Pink matte silicone, with zero lintiness. The underside is curved to fit against your clit, and between your labia. I think it's designed with the idea that you'd rest it on your clit and leave it there, whereas I prefer to move and press on my vibrator quite a bit to find that sweet spot. I found her to be a bit big and unwieldy compared to dainty pin-point Nea, and the matte silicone has a lot of drag compared to smooth plastic- you have to use extra lube with Siri.
Like all Lelo toys, the packaging is amazing- the outer box is purple cardboard, with the durable black cardboard “jewelry box” that Lelo is known for cradling the toy inside. In addition to the vibrator, the box contains the plug-in AC universal Lelo charger, the instruction manual and warranty, a sample packet of Lelo lube, and a black satin pouch for storage. Siri is meant as a clitoral vibe, and should not be inserted into the body or submerged in water, as she’s not waterproof. You should also avoid using silicone lubes with Siri as it could damage the surface.
The console features 4 buttons in a cross formation. The right "+" button turns the vibrator on and increases intensity, the left "-" button dials the intensity down until it’s completely off. The upper and lower arrow buttons allow you to cycle through six patterns: Fast pulse, slow pulse, fast rollercoaster, slow rollercoaster, an erratic pattern that I think is supposed to feel spontaneous but makes me think my vibrator maybe wants to kill me, and the straightforward buzz. You can lock and unlock the toy for traveling by holding down the + and – buttons simultaneously. The vibrations are decently quiet.
I admit that silicone vibrators almost never get me off clitorally, and I knew I was taking a chance with Siri. I’ve had this problem with my JimmyJane Form 4 as well. For some reason, the silicone seems to weaken the strength of the vibration, and make them more diffuse. I prefer hard plastic vibrators, or the Hitachi. Siri cranked all the way upon the standard vibration setting couldn’t get me off. What’s weird, however, is the patterns could. I am not a fan of patterns, generally speaking, I find them distracting. But for some reason Siri’s vibration felt more noticeable when condensed into these patterns. I was able to reach orgasm with both speeds of pulse and rollercoaster settings (the psychokiller setting was a lost cause). It was interesting to get off using the patterns, though I found they actually kind of interrupted the flow of my orgasm. I still prefer a strong, straight buzz.
As beautiful as she is, Siri just cannot compare to Nea to me. I would only recommend her if you prefer diffuse clitoral vibrations (the saving grace of the aforementioned Form 4 was that it could also be used internally.) She’s not versatile enough to be worthwhile otherwise. I would also recommend her to anyone who enjoys patterns, since these did feel more powerful than the ones I’ve experienced with
my other toys.

Follow-up commentary
3 days after original review
I bleach disinfected this and gifted it to a friend with a hyper sensitive clit. Hopefully it will work better for her, I just couldn't see this one finding a permanent home in my collection.

Why Did The Lelo Siri Get Such Mixed Reviews?
-
Why Did The Lelo Siri Get Such Mixed Reviews? Was is based on expectations of comparing it to the other Lelo line? Other comparable products? Price point. Was there over heating/ charging issues. How does the vibration field/ strength compare to the Liv & Mona. Who (here) has tried all three?
I wish there was a better video review. The one posted is flashy, but not very informative. It would be really nice if someone would compare the difference between the three Lelo toys i have listed.
*edit- looks like the main complaints are non-waterproof & lacking Vroom for some. Does that pretty well sum it up? -
lol I feel like you answered your own question. um, all I can say is reread the reviews. I know that what I gathered was that it heated up super quick and it was incredibly uncomfortable or down right painful for some.
-
The Siri has 31 reviews up, 20 of which give it 5 stars, 8 give it 4 stars, and only 3 go lower. That seems pretty positive to me. :) Though truly, you're not really going to get a better answer to your questions than from the reviews themselves.

If you had to choose one lelo product what would it be
-
So I've seen in other discussions a wide variety of choices. I want to know if you could only have one Lelo product which would it be and why. Do you already own one?

Do you already own one?I have the Soraya and it's one of my favorites (though I do wish it were a bit stronger). I also have the Nea and my Luna beads are shipping as I type.
I have my eye on the Elise but it's not something I'd die without, you know? Lelo has some motion sense products that just launched that work like a Wii controller I think that's pretty freaking awesome but I'm waiting on some reviews to come out first. I'm also kinda like the Alia but if the motion sense reviews are good I'd pick those up before the Alia.
I will likely never buy a Siri because I need intense vibrations not lots of patterns. -
Mona! I have Siri and Ella and they're great but I am soo exciting about buying the Mona in my next order. I've wanted that one for ages and ages :)

Zini Seed or Lelo Siri?
-
I've been on the market for a new, strong clitoral vibrator. I've been an avid Hitachi user for a few years, but have been slowly weaning myself off that and have been using the Lelo GiGi as my go-to clit toy.
Although I really like the GiGi as a clit toy vibe, I know it's not for that and sometimes the vibrations seem really weak to me. I've been looking at both the Seed and the Siri, but how do these two compare? Does someone have both? Which one is stronger, etc? -
I don't have the seed but I do know that the Siri isn't super strong. And there aren't any reviews for the Seed up yet, are there?
-
There is some Seed reviews. Both vibes sound good, but I'd go with the Seed. I just ordered the Womolia which is supposed to be quite strong as well.

I have a discount for a LELO toy...which should I get?
-
I have a 40% off discount to Lelo's website, but I don't know what to get. I already own the Ina, the Ella, and the personal moisturizer. Of course I want EVERYTHING, but at this point I've narrowed it down to a few things. The new Mia, the Luna Beads, the candle/massage oil, or maybe the Siri. I've been buying lots of sex toys lately which is why I'm leaning towards the Luna Beads because they're cheaper and I don't own any Kegel exercisers yet. What would you do with a discount as awesome as this one?

Also, how'd you get such an awesome coupon? -
I'm curious about what you ended up choosing! And yes, that coupon is awesome!

Waterproof?

Is this waterproof or splashproof?
-
Quote: Is this waterproof or splashproof? No it's not waterproof and i baby mine to much to test but because the charger port is completly open it is likely that water would go in and then she would die, and that would be awful because the lack of water tolerance is her only fault. so i'm going to say no to splashproof as well.

Okay thanks! I was a bit confused about that. :)

Would like to know...
-
Just curious about this product, please let me know your personal experiences so I can make a decision whether to buy it or not. Thanks
-
I would go check out the reviews on the Siri. It includes the reviewers personal experience with the Siri, ans you can get multiple opinions that way.

ThanksI haven't gotten a chance to do my review yet but I have to say that it's amazing, almost silent deep and rumbly very compact and conveniant to hold, i guess the real deciding factor between this and a lot of others is how deep of a vibration you like/need and how much you're willing to pay for it, i love mine and have not a regret in the world for getting it, though to be fare with coupons and points I got it a lot cheaper than i would have otherwise.

My favorite is Ina

I don't have a Lelo toy as of yet, but I have been looking at getting the Siri. I am really unsure if I want the Siri or the SaSi.

Thank you for viewing Siri – discreet massager review page!

Outstanding review! I've thgought about buying Siri SOOO many times, but I'll go back every time and read reviews and I always end up being unsure if the vibrations would be worth the price for me. Ugh. I hate not being able to decide! Lol. It sounds very nice and I enjoyed your review, but I think I'll have to go for Zini Deux as my next big purchase instead of Siri. I imagine I will eventually buy this little thing though! Hope it works out well for me. I like that you did a little comparing with Siri and Nea! Awesome!
Thanks for the review. I'm tempted to buy this one because I love Lelo, but I just don't think it would be strong enough for me.
@Kendra glad that this helps! I really love the Nea, and the Siri FEELS really strong objectivitely, but the way the vibrations are transmitted are very than with the Nea. It's still a beautiful toy, but I'm not in love.
@mpfm if you like their other silicone vibes it might be ok. Nea is the only Lelo vibe I own that I'm really nuts about.
Thanks for the review
Thanks!
Good review
Thanks for the great review, sorry this didn't work out for you
thanks
thanks!
That's a shame that the vibrations are so spread out and dispersed. I thought this toy would be more powerful than that.
It is powerful, but I need pinpoint stimulation to come!
Ie, I have this problem with pretty much all silicone vibes.
Thanks for the review. Sorry this didn't work out for you
Thanks
Thanks for review.
Thanks!
Thanks for the excellent review! I've thought about getting this because it's so quiet and cute, but I know that this isn't truly strong enough for me.
