Touché Ice big - vibrator by Shots media - review by ~LaUr3n~

NOTE: I got this item long before I got the Foreplay Ice Chill, which I reviewed a while ago. So it a bit of an understatement to say that this review is a tad over due! It took me so long because I was trying to achieve a perfect mold. I did it the first few times I used it and NEVER again. I've probably tried once every other week since I got it over a year ago. No such luck. I've given up and taken pictures of what a "normal" ice mold looks like with this toy.

The Touché Ice Big is a very unique item. This kit includes everything you need to make your own vibrating ice cube that you can glide around your body or your partner's body without having to touch the ice! This item is great for couples wanting to experiment with temperature play, but can be used solo as well. While it does include a vibrating bullet, this does not have to be used in the ice mold. It can be used separately, at the same time, to have two different unique sensations.

There are a few pieces to this kit. The main two pieces, the ice mold and the bullet housing are made of a medical grade and non-porous silicone. The bottom has a frosted looking appearance which is quite suiting. The top is vivid and vibrate blue. There is another piece which I will call an egg shell. This piece is made of a very thin plastic that cracked the first time I handled it. Good thing that I don't use it! I am not even sure what exactly it is for, but I'll get to that in the next section. The bullet is palstic but has a matte feel and metallic look achieved by paint.

This kit has a few parts as stated above. First I will describe the base. This hollowed out base is made of flexible silicone. it is about half the size of an egg, but has a flat base attached to it. There are some minute details that really make this design work really well. The base has raised nubs underneath it so that it does not slip when in your freezer. There is a lip on the side that allows you to peel away the silicone from the finished ice. And finally, they is a slight shelf that allows the top portion to sit nicely inside of it.

The top part which serves as the housing for the bullet and also where the ice connects to is also quite ingenious. It has deep artistically placed grooves on the outside that help make for a slip free experience. The top has the hole for the bullet in which an standard one will fit. The bottom has a sphere disc that juts out. This disc has four holes in it. It serves a few purposes. For one, the fact that it juts out and has holes in it makes for the ice to form around this structure and stay on firmly until fully melted. Secondly, if you put this in and up toward the top, it will help push the bullet out. I thought this was awfully kind since those pesky suckers can be such a pain to remove!

The Foreplay Ice Chill has three parts. Two or them are for making the ice. It has a mini cup with a flat base that kind of looks like a small cauldron to me (and about the size of a golf ball). It has four mini feet that keep it from falling over. Inside are hollowed out part to make the raised studs when the water that is placed inside freezes. There is also a convenient lip on the side so that you can pull the mold away from the ice when it is finished. The entire thing, when added to the base is about 4" tall (when the bullet is inserted it sticks out a tad). The ice piece end up being less than 2" long.



The bullet is of standard size and shape. The bullet is 2 1/2" long and 3/4" wide. It has a single push button its base. The entire thing, even when the bullet is in it looks very peculiar and unlike any other sexy toy I have seen. I have left it in my freezer for over a year (always ready for when we want to use it). Dozens of people have gone in there and have never mentioned anything about it (including my parents). I'd say it is really discreet.

So how do you use all these pieces together? EASY! You fill the bottom part with water. I suggest overflowing it so you can get the best mold. Then carefully place the bullet housing inside the lip of the bottom portion. Some water will spill out which is fine. Then place it on a flat surface in your freezer. Most have grates and ridges in the bottom so you might have to set it on a box or frozen pizza for the time being. Then wait about two hours or so for it to freeze.

Then you can use the lip on the silicone to take the ice mold out. Place the vibrator in, rub your hand on the ice a bit (so it doesn't stick to your sensitive tissue), and you are ready to go! The bullet's one speed is of average intensity. It will do amazing teasing, but it might not be enough to drive everyone over the edge alone. I don't view this toy as something to get you off. It's too messy and cold for that. BUT, the cold feels amazing on the nipples, lower back, etc. It is fun to use with a partner too. You have less than 5-10 minutes to use it though, so play wisely! The melting bullet will have beads of cool water dripping all over your sexy bodies!

The plastic piece I mentioned earlier... the instructions don't mention it. But, I think it might be to cover the ice for those who are really sensitive to cold. If this is what it is intended for, it will only work for a few minutes since the ice will melt and not retain the same egg shape as the plastic. It will lengthen the life of your ice however.

Clean up is easy. You should keep a wash cloth near you to wipe up the melted water. Then you can throw the two silicone pieces in the dishwasher if you would like to clean them (remove the bullet!). You don't lubricant, but if for some reason you want to use some, make sure it is not silicone based. To store it, you can place it all back in the package or pretty much put where ever. You can even store it in a kitchen drawer if you want. We store it in the freezer so it is ready when we want it.

The packaging is very nice and makes for a great presentation. The white cardboard box has lovely pictures of falling water on it. There are tid bits of information in a few different languages throughout the package. The front has a small window showing part of the product while the back has a magnetic flap that opens to show all of it. There are easy, step by step, instructions included. It's good for storage but is quite larger than the product and a zip-lock bag can just as well be used.

This is what it normally turns out to be. I swear I do it the same every time and even place it in the same place in my freezer. It has only come out perfect, with no space the first few times. It looks a lot cooler when it is perfect, but it does not affect anything really.

The vibrations are not my favorite part of this. It transfers but you can really keep it in one place long enough to arouse a whole lot (my inner labia and clit are a bit too sensitive for that). The ice is much more arousing. Cold temperatures make everything more sensitive for me, especially nipples. My boyfriend likes cold as well. It feel great on the boys and underside of the shaft especially when it is followed by a warm tongue.

We also go creative and used juice liquids to freeze in the egg. Then we just followed the sweet trail. sometimes things got a bit sticky, but that was nothing a warm shower could not fix. We love this product and that is why it is always in the freezer! I must note though that since it has always been in the freezer...it now smells like freezer. Oh well!
