A Vibrator for Todays Generation

This is a good choice for the environmentalist who is technology-inclined and for those who live in a situation where they might need to lie about what it is if it is found.

useful review
This vibrator was exactly what I was looking for. It greatly appeals to the college/young 20s way of living.

First of all is its design. It's sleek and attractive (the one I am discussing is a rosey purple) and requires no batteries. Instead, it has a USB port that plugs easily into your computer. It's "plug and play" with no software to install; it instantly charges when plugged in. While plugged into your computer, it does not look like a sex toy but resembles a fancy-designed jump drive. Anyone who happened to see it would be none the wiser (great for roommate living). The one downside to this is that it has a cap. While it's plugged in, it can be easy to forget where you stuck the top portion, but if you keep this in mind, it's not hard to over come. The cap fits well over the USB port, but because it's not a screw top, I feel a bit uneasy when cleaning it for fear of water and the port.

The pros of the USB outweigh the cons. It is a style that fits todays generation perfectly. It comes with a cord, so you don't have to plug it directly into your computer if you don't want to. It does take a couple hours to fully charge, but it lasts several hours. It gives the perfect opportunity to use the internet to your advantage while waiting.

The next best thing about this toy is how quiet it is! The light buzz is easy to ignore. It is perfect if there is a roommate in the next room or parents down the hall or what have you.

This toy would be a good first toy or a good couple's first toy. It is quite small and not intimidating but does some pretty awesome things. It has classic low to high constant vibrations and then three different designs of pulsing vibrations. Its touch buttons make it easy to pick the setting (or change to a setting) that is pleasing to you. I certainly cannot speak for everyone, but it worked for me!

The price is not bad at all - particularly when you consider there are no batteries to buy and its multi-functions. I also really like the rosey color; it's feminine without being obnoxious or obvious.

  • Mias USB cover cap
    • I've done a little reading up on the Mia and found that many people were having problems with the cap falling off during use. Since Mia is not waterproof, I wanted to know if this was a defect or is this is something that happens to the Mias over time. I am looking to get one for my girlfriend, but wanted to know more about this problem before I purchase it. Also, I read that LELO has made improvements to Mias motor. Is that the only improvement that was made? Or does anyone have the same problem with the cap falling off on the new Mia?
      Thanks!!

  • Any USB vibrators that you can use WHILE they are charging?
    • So I see there's no way you could use this one while it's charging, and apparently the same goes for the Fairy Baby. Does anyone know of one you can use while it's charging via USB?
    • I think the We-Vibe Tango might be usable since it looks like it's got a really long extension cord. But I don't own one.
    • I'd be worried about the risk of electrocution. Also, the power draw of simultaneous use and charging might fry your USB port.

  • New Lelo Mia?
    • Does anyone have the "new and improved" Lelo Mia? I'm curious if it's a lot better.
    • I didn't even know about the new and improved Mia, now I'm curious because I was thinking about getting the Mia with my next order.
    • I just went on the website and looked, I'm hoping that the one I order will be the new and improved one, because they said that they started making them better as of February. Now I'm even more excited to try it out :)
