This traditional style of Ben Wa balls is something I would recommend to anyone and everyone with a vagina. They come in a lovely little storage box, they're discreet both in use and in appearance (they doesn't scream "I'M A SEX TOY!!!"). They're highly effective, they're very inexpensive, and they're easily sterilized. What more could you ask for? Well.... maybe one improvement could be made, but we'll get to that later. First let's explore the plethora of "pros" that encompass this toy.

Perhaps "toy" isn't the right word here. Rather, think of these as tools. Tools to strengthen your PC muscles - and these balls are the perfect weight and size to accomplish this in a very short amount of time. After only four days of using these I began to notice results. To give you a bit of background; I am 20 years old, have never given birth, I am completely continent, and am not a "size queen". Before getting these balls to exercise with, I had practiced kegel exercises on an every-other-day-or-so basis, usually for only 5-10 minutes at a time. Now that I have the balls to exercise with, I feel like I have a lot more control over my PC muscles. My orgasms are noticeably more intense and my boyfriend noticed a change in my vaginal muscle strength as well. For the first week I used them every day while I was around the house, usually leaving them in for a few hours at a time. Within four days I noticed a difference, and now I use them several times a week but not every day and this seems to be enough to work my muscles and keep them strong.

My first impression of these balls was that they would be "too small", but that's really what makes them work so well. The smaller size of Ben Wa balls you use, the harder your muscles have to work to keep them in place. They are also quite heavy for how small they are, which is the second aspect of their effectiveness. They are the perfect balance of size and weight to really keep your muscles working.

When I first started using them I had a hard time keeping them inside of me while standing or walking, but after using them it has become almost second nature. Removal can be a little tricky too, especially retrieving the second ball, but if you have a partner to help it's a lot easier. I also found that if I was having a hard time getting the last ball out that if I stood up and pushed with my PC muscles it would eventually work its way out to where I could get it.

What really makes these wonderful is how easily they can be cleaned and sterilized. You can use rubbing alcohol, boiling water, toy sanitizer, bleach (10% mix in H20), soap & water, or you can even throw them in a basket on the top rack of your dishwasher. Just make sure they're inside something like a basket or cup or bowl, so they don't end up in the bottom of the dishwasher.

As for that one measly improvement that could be made... The only way these could be made any better is if they had a metal bead in each ball, as some other models do. This would add for extra sensation as the metal bead rolls around on the inside of each ball, offering subtle vibrations as you move. However, this would merely add a little interest to using them and isn't at all necessary to benefit from the effects of using these. This would also make them a little noisier to use too, so for some people the virtually silent way that they already come may be an improvement upon my little speculative "improvement".

Overall, these are definitely worth the very low price. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and I recommend them to anyone and everyone who has a vagina. Even if you don't think you are in *need* of any vaginal strengthening you will be ecstatic with the results you get from using these!
