LELO's Mia is a discrete and adorable vibrator. She could be used all over but she shines as a clitoral vibe. I don't recommend inserting her because, at less than two inches to do so with, there's hardly any to insert. I wouldn't even think of considering anal play with her because she's without any kind of flared base. Don't take her near the shower, either, as she's not at all waterproof. If you're the kind of person that likes to be prepared, keep Mia in your purse or laptop bag and whip her out whenever you're in the mood! At a glance she looks like a fancy lipstick and with a more thorough inspection, she looks like a chic flash drive.

Mia is made of plastic and has no smell or taste. She's deliciously smooth and sleek with no texture, which is good for beginners but certainly users at all levels of experience. The controls are silicone which makes them easy to find by feel alone.

This toy is so discrete and innocuous, making it perfect for travel; it just looks like a computer accessory with it's USB charger. Mia is certainly bigger than a bullet but she's smaller than the majority of other vibes. I think her size is perfect; she's big enough to securely get a good hold of. I love the tapered tip for pinpoint precision.

I do have one problem with Mia's design; the cover that goes over the USB charger does not seem at all secure to me. It actually drives me to distraction, making sure it's not falling off all the time. I've noticed that, on the higher speeds, it does seem to try to work it's way off. Maybe that's just my particular model and not usual of course, but I've taken to just removing the cover altogether and using Mia without. It's easier to hold for me and less distracting, even a little quieter I think, but I can't exactly recommend you do that as it exposes the most vulnerable part of the toy.

The vibrations in Mia seem very well dispersed and massage with the flat end of her is certainly possible. She has several speed of vibration, including a sort of 'turbo' speed, and three available patterns. I prefer to use the constant turbo speed myself but all of her functions are tasty.

The controls are very easy to use. The buttons are covered in silicone so you can find them without looking, aided by the positive and negative insignias on them to cycle up and down through the levels of vibration. Once the vibe is turned all the way up, holding the plus sign for a few seconds activates the various patterns. It can even be turned off and locked so you don't have to worry about her accidentally being turned on in transit. She's rechargeable and therefore very green since you aren't buying and disposing of lots of batteries. Mia holds a charge nicely, too, so you can count on her being ready to go when you are! Just don't leave her plugged in forever because the booklet says she can be overcharged.

Mia is not waterproof. I didn't even try to take her in the shower or get her wet at all because I'm afraid of killing her.

Like most vibrators, Mia gets louder on her higher settings. Under blankets and through closed doors, I don't think she's a problem. On her lower settings, I can barely even hear her through blankets and I'm right there!

Being plastic, you can use any lube you like with Mia. I use a spray cleaner very carefully to care for her so as not to get any near the USB plug. It's not difficult to do but always be mindful of the fact that moisture in that USB is a very bad thing!

She's so cute and handy that I literally just put Mia anywhere. Right now she's in my nightstand. If you're going to be carrying her around, though, I recommend storing her in the pouch that comes with her so the cap doesn't fall off and get lost somewhere.

Like all LELO toys, Mia comes in a wonderfully tasteful and reusable black box. It'd be great for storing her between uses if you'd like. The 'outer' box, a cover sort of thing that slips off, comes in the same color as your Mia and simply says LELO on it, making it a discrete and ideal gift.

Mia also comes with an off white satiny drawstring pouch, a USB extension cord, and a thorough instruction booklet.

And, like all LELO products, Mia also comes with a warranty! Those always make me feel more secure with what I'm buying.

I like to use Mia with a second toy to tag team my orgasms and that's always good, but she works wonderfully without anything else as well. I like that there's more variety than a basic clit vibe and she really totally rocked my metaphorical socks off. That turbo speed is powerful almost to the point of pain for me (I assume that's different for everyone), but that seems to get me off better and faster.

All in all, Mia is a quality vibrator and you can't go wrong with her. She's worth the price!
