The Je Joue Ami vaginal exerciser is a three-step system to help strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. While using a vaginal exerciser you use your PC muscles to hold it in, thus making them stronger.
This set is suited for anyone who wants to strengthen their PC muscles, and the range of sizes and weights ensures a fit for many women. Using vaginal exercisers can make for more intense orgasms and sexual pleasure, increase bladder control to avoid or help with incontinence, and to strengthen your PC muscles after having a child. On top of all these reasons to use exercisers, they can also cause pleasure when wearing them!
These Kegel exercisers are inserted in your vagina, and you hold it in using your PC muscles (the same muscles you use to control your urine flow). They can be used anywhere, any time and nobody will know!
These should not be used anally as there is no flared base.

All 3 Ami exercisers are made of 100% silicone, with an ABS plastic cord on the bottom of each for tugging them while in and pulling them out. I pulled really, really hard on the cord and I could not get it to come off, so it's safe to say it's pretty strong. The silicone that the Ami exercisers are made out of is latex and phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and non-porous. They are very safe for your body and for wearing for long periods of time. They are very smooth and have a slight drag. They have no smell to them.
Ami 1 has a slight give to it and one weight.
Ami 2 has less give and two weights.
Ami 3 has no give except between the 2 weights.

The Ami's texture is for any user, whether they use toys or are sexually active. These can definitely help anybody.

Only water based lube should be used with the Ami.

The design of the Ami toys are beautiful. They are perfect for conforming to your body. The Ami 2 and 3 have two rounded parts with weights and a flexible part in the middle which makes them very comfortable.

The specs on the website slightly differ from the ones in the instruction and info booklet. I am giving information that came with the Ami exercisers.

Ami 1 is a round ball.
- Almost a 1-1/2 inch diameter
- Length excluding the cord is 1.41 inches
- Weighs in at 1.9oz

Ami 2 is two smaller balls that each have a small weight in them with a bendable portion in between them.
- 1-1/4 inch diameter
- Length excluding the cord is 3.14 inches
- Weighs 2.5oz

Ami 3 has the same design as Ami 2, but is smaller.
- Slightly less than 1-1/8 inch diameter
- 2-3/4 inches long excluding the cord
- Weighs 3.5oz

All three of these have a plastic cord at the bottom as I mentioned above. There is a chance of getting fluids stuck under the plastic where it connects to the silicone but it should easily be washed off.

The weight(s) in them do move around, especially in Ami 1 and 2. If you shake them you can hear it, but while in use you cannot hear the sound at all.

These do not look like your average sex toy, so they are somewhat discreet if you leave them out in the open.

The Ami exercisers' performance is great. There are a couple specific exercises you can do, outlined in the information booklet that comes with Ami.
They can also just be worn throughout the day for shopping, working out, etc. since they are so safe and comfortable. The heavier the Ami you use, the more resistance there will be, therefore you will be working your PC muscles even more! If you use an Ami that is too light for you, then it can at least serve as a reminder to do your Kegel exercises.

The Amis are super easy to take care of. Since they are silicone and non-porous they are completely sterilizable. The booklet says to use warm water and soap, or you can boil them for 20 seconds max.
I don't see why you couldn't use a 10% bleach solution or a toy cleaner as well.

The packaging of these is a great place to store them, but they can also be stored anywhere you would like. Some silicone toys should not be stored against one another or they will melt, so be cautious of that.

The packaging of the Ami was absolutely beautiful. It can be used as a storage box for sure, and it's so pretty it could be used as a gift box. There was first a simple dark box with "JE JOUE" and "Ami" printed on the front, little pictures of all three exercisers on the side, and some information about the Ami exercisers on the back. You open up that box, and out comes a gorgeous sturdy box tied with a satin ribbon. Once untied, there are the three Ami's presented to you on a plastic tray with Ami 1, 2, and 3 all labeled on the packaging. Once you lift up that plastic tray there is an instruction booklet.

The booklet is so, so informative. It's only 2 small pages front and back in English. I wish I could write down everything it says, but I'll just give you a run down.

The first part talks about what Ami can help you with-- enhanced sensitivity, more intense orgasms, improved PC muscles to grip and tease a male partner's penis during intercourse, urinary incontinence, menopause, and childbirth.

Then it goes on to explain your PC muscles, Kegel exercisers, the basic differences between the three Amis, and how to use them and progress with them as your strength improves. There are also two exercises that they suggest you do while using the exercisers.

After that, they list the specs and how to clean it.

Some of the basic information (specs, cleaning) I have given is different from other reviews and I apologize for that. I do my best to be accurate, and all of my info has been from the instruction booklet that came with the Ami balls.

The Amis are great. You just pick which one you want to start off with, and move up as your muscle improves.

Personally, I had one problem. I could feel the cord rubbing against my labia minora a lot during use which is very uncomfortable about half the time. I kept having to readjust it to find a way to make it work. I don't believe this problem would happen with many people, it probably depends on your personal anatomy.
I'm not going to rank it down because of that though, it's a great exerciser.

They are such a good idea, and they are so nice looking and feeling. I like that they come with a variety to suit different people.
When I am using the Ami 3 I can feel it really working my muscle. I keep switching which one I use. I don't want to wear the heaviest when I go out yet, but I do around the house. Ami 2 I can wear anywhere and constantly do Kegel exercises.
Overall, these balls will form to your body and should be comfortable for you. They really do work your PC muscles.
