Ami - exerciser for vaginal muscles by Je Joue - review by Charletnarouh

This is a set of vaginal exercisers for kegel exercise and pleasure in 3 different sizes to work up. Use them in private to do specific exercises or wear them out and about. A great set for any woman who wants to tone her PC muscles. I imagine these would be excellent as part of a post-partum recovery regimen. They have retrieval strings, but I wouldn't suggest them for anal use.

These are silicone and have a great texture; very smooth and velvety soft. There was no taste or smell at all. The silicone is somewhat loose around the interior structure of the toy. I'm not sure if this adds any benefit to their use but it certainly doesn't seem to detract from it at all. There is minimal drag, so water based lube is highly recommended. Don't use silicone with silicone toys!

There are 3 sizes of balls in this set.

The largest, the one you're supposed to start with, is Ami 1. She is a perfectly round ball 1 1/2" in diameter. This one was a little large for me during insertion but comfortable once fully inserted, even for a period of several hours.

The medium ball is Ami 2. This is the longest of the 3, 2 balls connected by silicone in the centre for an hourglass shape, measuring 3 1/4" long and each ball is 1 1/4" diameter. This was comfortable to insert but ultimately too long for me to wear for a long time, especially when sitting.

Both Ami 1 & 2 have balls inside that roll around. These can be felt when worn inside or when rolled in your hand. Especially in the case of Ami 1, this was very pleasant.

Ami 3 is the smallest and most advanced of the set. She is shaped like a smaller version of Ami 2 and is 2 3/4" long and each ball is 1 1/8" diameter. This was the most comfortable of the set for me and also definitely more of a work out than the other 2. It's much heavier and really makes me work to keep it inside. I found this to be my favourite of the 3. I could not feel the internal balls rolling in Ami 3 as I could with 1 & 2.

Both Ami 2 & 3 have no rigid connection between the balls, just the soft silicone, making them very comfortable to wear and they flex nicely with my body shape.

All 3 Ami balls have a 3" looped cord for easy retrieval. The cord is flat and non-porous! I found that I did need to position the cord in my panties so it was comfortable but for the most part this posed no issue.

These balls are super easy and comfortable to use and really present a wide variety of options. There are no batteries and no noise. Je Joue includes instructions with some suggested exercise but I found that wearing them around while at work or doing chores around the house, etc. was a great workout as well. I noticed an improvement in muscle strength almost right away. I did find Ami 2 to be much less useful and less comfortable than the other 2 because of its length and me being quite small. It was too long, especially when I was sitting down. They are completely discreet, both in the fact that they make no noise and also because they are not immediately obvious as sex toys.

I wash mine in an antibacterial toy cleaner and rinse in warm water and dry with a soft toy cloth. An antibacterial soap and hot water would work as well. There are no porous parts of them and no mechanical components so they are submergible and very easy to clean. I've read many other users washing with alcohol, 10% bleach solution, toy wipes, etc.

I use water based lube with them. Like any silicone toy they are not compatible with silicone lubes or other silicone products and should not be stored in contact with each other or any other silicone toys. They come in a beautiful, sturdy, discreet box that I keep mine stored in. It has a molded tray for them with labels for each one, in case you forget and there's even a compartment for the cords to fall into. Perfect storage solution! Leave the box out on your nightstand, dresser, bathroom counter, etc. and unless someone is familiar with the brand name that is printed on the lid, people will assume it's a little jewellery or valet box.

Je Joue's packaging is excellent. As I already mentioned, it's a beautiful box suitable for storage. It's black, matte cardboard with the logo and Je Joue printed on the lid and black satin ribbon to tie it closed. There's a tray inside molded for the balls and a compartment for the cords to fall into. Instructions for use and care as well as suggested exercised are included underneath the tray. This is a very attractive, discreet packaging, also suitable for gifting.

I love these and wear them routinely to work, shopping, cleaning, just about anywhere. I usually use Ami 3, especially because I'm so small. I find that when I'm wearing them they sometimes shift or slip down and I can use my muscles to pull them deeper or back into place which is excellent for toning my muscles and I noticed an improvement in muscle strength almost immediately. I have always tried to do kegels but I forget to do them, can't tell if I'm always doing them right without having something inside me, etc. So this set is perfect for me, feeling them inside me, working to pull them deeper or back into place, working to keep them inside is a perfect solution to remind me to do the exercises regularly. Plus Je Joue nicely included instructions for suggested exercises as well.
