And the droning engine throbs in time...
If you have a music (or musician) fetish, this toy is hard to beat. It's the next best thing to being a groupie.Published: January 11, 2010
Pros:
Fun and different way to listen to music and get off, can be used without music as well.
Cons:
Crazy tight battery compartment, a bit on the loud side.
I was so excited to finally get this toy after knowing about it for many months. My favorite musician is a bass player (and an incredibly hot human being) and the idea of actually getting off to his music was so enticing.
When I received it, I immediately put it to use, hooking it up to my iPod and crawling into bed. It was difficult at first to get into it because it was making me giggle so much. Plus, it was distracting trying to find the appropriate songs. Once I managed to get over the giggles and settle on a couple of good songs, the experience improved.
What a trip it was feeling every little note of his bass guitar against my clit! Unfortunately, I found it difficult to reach orgasm to the music that first try and had to switch to the regular vibrator to finish, but once I had a playlist set up and could play without thinking about what songs were coming up or worrying that it would end too soon, I was able to climax to his music. Fantastic! I'll be honest though, most of the time I've used this, it's been with the plain vibrator attachment. I'm simply not a huge fan of having wires around while I play; I find them distracting. However, on those occasions that I do hook it up to the iPod for some hot rock star fantasy loving, it's well worth the effort.
The shape is a bit on the boring side for insertion, so I bought the penis shaped sleeve for it. With the sleeve on, it makes a fine dildo. The only drawback for me, besides contending with wires, is the battery compartment. It is so dang tight, that I have to shake it extra hard to get the batteries to budge slightly. Then I can grab an edge and pull them out. That's a major pain in the ass, especially if I want to do a quick battery change because the ones currently in there are starting to die. But clean up is really simple and I keep it in the velvet pouch they sent, which is handy. Overall, it's worth the investment.

I got nervous and took it off and the batteries out. Help!!!the unit should not heat up like that when plugged in. one of the reasons that it would do this is if the batteries were placed in the device backward causing a short in the circuitry that converts the audio signal into a higher dc power signal for the motor. always use the standard non headphone cover and test to see if the unit works before using the headphone adapter.
if the unit does not work with the standard cover the batteries might be in wrong, once it works with the standard cap switch to the music cap and try a source like a mp3 player/PC/ something with a standard headphone jack. the iphones have a bit of a different headphone jack style with an extra set of contacts for the iphone headsets so if the jack does not go fully in may cause a short in the vibrator.

To me, it seems like that would be a better use than in private. Seems like the novelty would wear off if you only used it alone.

I was wondering if anyone knows if a phone with an mp3 player built in would work with an OhMiBod vibrator?
-
I replied to your post in the other thread in which you asked this question, but here it is again.
The reviews on the product page state:
"If you don’t have any kind of portable mp3 player, the Naughti Nano can be used with any CD player, computer, or other device that has an audio out option (small jack) for headphones."
From Sammi's review, which can be read here. -
Yeah, it can. The only thing that the OhMiBod "links" into is your headphone jack. If it can take a headphone jack, you're good.

Thank you for viewing OhMiBod – traditional vibrator review page!

I would use the extended format for this. Pretty good review!
Thanks for the review. I'd love to know a little bit more about how it works with the adapter, what batteries it takes, and what songs you like for what.
Good review, though.
Yep I'd kind of like to know a bit about music selection.
Thanks for the review
