Luna beads noir - exerciser for vaginal muscles by LELO - review by jasminedarling

Luna Beads by Lelo are generally used to strengthen your PC muscles (kegel exercises) although they have other uses. These CANNOT be used anally although there is a harness with a string. Do not do it! These are to be inserted into vaginas to stimulate your muscles and can increase wetness during foreplay. Lelo's Luna beads are stunningly beautiful and of superior quality, as we can expect anything from Lelo to be.



The beads can be used on their own or in the harness. These are the same as the Luna Beads Mini biggest balls (37g) except they are black. Aside from muscle strengthening, they can be used during foreplay for a it of fun & moisture increase. I've also read that people use them during intercourse but that scares me!

Luna Beads are made of shiny, hard plastic for the balls and smooth, flexible 100% silicone for the harness.
These bring these lovely fellows in at an 8 on the body safety scale, which is rated 1-10. When I opened the box with much anticipation, I noticed there was no smell whatsoever from the packaging nor the product itself.

The smoothness of the harness and the balls make them very easy for insertion despite my apprehension; I thought they'd be way too big for me! These are suitable for any level of user (granted you are under 30 & have not given birth) as these were my first and I had no issues!

I really love the way Lelo designed these balls. The fact that I can use them with or without the harness made all the difference to me. Most ben wa type balls are either just balls or encased in a harness type of thing. You have no way of knowing what works best for you if it's your first time with the product.



Again, I was mildly horrified at not only the size of the balls themselves, but the size of them in the harness. The manual included states to add a very small amount of water-based lube for easy insertion.
I used Aqua Flavored Pomegranate because it's just my favorite thing ever. Be sure to ONLY use water based lube as the harness is silicone and using a silicone based lube can deteriorate your harness.

The balls themselves are of course spherical while the harness is...well, the pictures best describe it.
A small drawstring bag is featured for storage making them perfect for travel, although I keep mine in the pretty box. They're pretty discreet if you're not familiar with these kinds of items.

As mentioned before, I LOVE that these can be used by themselves or with a harness. I used mine the first few times by themselves because I thought in the harness they would be too big for me and it scared me. They were definitely interesting. I inserted one, walked around a bit and noticed I felt nothing at all. I inserted the second one and I could definitely feel a bit of pressure, which I found to be kind of fun.

The third day I decided to use the harness and I just am wild about it. It makes me want to wear them all day & go running. The harness keeps the balls in place, as opposed to being able to turn around and such. This REALLY makes you feel the rumble of the inner balls hitting the hard plastic of the outer ball. This is a sensation I've never felt before and cannot get enough of.

I like to walk around my apartment very stompy and my sister is like, "what's going on?" I'm so enamored with it! I've read reviews of people saying you can hear the rumbling- I can't. When I put the balls in my hand, make a fist and shake them, I can't hear the balls.
Maybe I have bad ears?

Again, it is important not to use a lubricant that is not water-based if you're using one.

I clean these like I clean all my toys, just with a little more attention to them. I spray them with Cleene, wash them with Dial soap & wipe down with EdenFantasys wipes. You'll want to be sure to completely disinfect them and let them dry before storing them. As I stated, I keep them in the box they came in. This helps from letting them touch other toys and ruining the surface or material.

Lelo has always had the most beautiful packaging. An outer box (pictured above) contains a beautiful linen box that has these lovely boys inside.

You get a Lelo authenticity card (which is the size of a credit/debit card), a bag for storage, a user manual with warranty info and a sample of their own lube! Yay for treats! You can store the balls in the included bag or keep them in their box as I do.

The box is recyclable, which I love. I am crazy about recycling and Lelo urges you to recycle it on the packaging.

These are very fun! I recommend then to anyone interested in these kinds of balls. They give experiences you may not be used to (in a good way) and are set apart by their dual layer ball system, which provides a yummy rumble.

It is very important to know your vagina when purchasing items. Note the circumference & width. These scared me because I thought they'd be too big but with some lubricant I was able to slide them in to fit very cozily. Sizing is not the same for everyone, so use good judgement in whether these will work for you or not.
