G-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson

Published: August 21, 2008
useful review
A bit complicated, and the g-spot point is a little too narrow. Takes a bit of work unless your g-spot is easy to locate. The up/down buttons that cycle through the 10 settings can be a blessing or a curse.
Pros:
Choices in the vibration settings
Cons:
Too many choices in the vibration settings - fine point to the head
This toy was definitely designed
This g-spot toy is, so far, unlike any other that I have tried. Why? Because of that odd-looking hammer head. It reminds me of a ball-pen hammer.

At first I thought that such a pronounced "point" would make it easier to find and successfully hit my g-spot, but in fact it has made it more difficult to hit my g-spot. Quite nice for hitting that "sweet spot" next to my clit, though. I've taken to preferring g-spot toys that have a fatter more pronounced "bulb" head, and a curve to the shaft.

This is made of hard unforgiving material. If you've been frustrated with too many toys that seem to give when you're trying to apply a lot of pressure to your g-spot, then you would want something of this material.

The vibration level is medium. There are a whopping 10 settings, arrived at by push buttons on the bottom, "up" and "down". The first three settings are steady vibrations in 3 levels, the highest level never reaching much more than "oh that's pretty good", instead of "wow!". I like "wow!". The next 7 settings are an array of pulsation combinations. It reminds me of a DJ mixing a song, lol. I've never been a fan of pulsation settings that do funny things. Just give me a straight vibration setting, no frills, and I'm happy.

The downside to the up/down buttons is that should you need to turn it off in a hurry, you can't. You just have to keep pushing the buttons. Which, by the way, light up. You can't see these light-show patterns which match the mode it is in, but it flashes away like a disco setting in time to the beat.

If you prefer a hard toy for g-spot play, this is for you. If you really like the pulsating combo thing, pick this. And if you're on the more sensitive side, pick this.

Too many choices in the vibration settings? That actually sounds like a plus to me.... ;)

I hate not having an instant off button! I think it should be a standard on all toys!

Ha, I'm amused by random pulsation settings too, esp. when accompanied by random flashing lights.
I think the pointy tip shape is usually better for clit stim., and thick heads and curves for g-spot, like you mention (even though they bill this as a g-spot vibe).

Hard plastic is a safer material though- can't be sterilized completely, however, so used condoms if sharing.

Choices in vibration settings can be both good and bad, very true. This does sound pretty mediocre. Good review.

Buttons like that are so annoying! I would not want to be using this toy if I lived with a roommate that came barging in. Which I once did...
