Intimate Basics Jasmine vibrator is just as it says, basic. This is my first vibrator and sadly after use, I found myself just a wee bit bored. This is great for clitoral stimulation and would be prefect for a girl that enjoys pin point clitoral play or a gentleman that enjoys external anal teasing. I am not either of those. I found the vibrations numbing rather than pleasurable. The toy actually became rather uncomfortable after about ten minutes. The vibrations were either barely existent or far too strong. I once found myself trying to remember if I needed to switch over the laundry in the midst of playing with my new vibrator. The skinny vibe is wonderful for deep penetration but lacks girth. A lot of toys stop at the 5” mark but this keeps going! Intimate Basics Jasmine is best for anyone that is interested in basic vibrators and doesn’t much care about circumference. For those of you that like to feel those good vibrations all over your body, this toy is wonderful. It's small, easy to handle and can be used for just about every body part: nipples, neck, lips, general massage etc. The main negative of this vibrator is that it is noisy. It can easily be heard under blankets but probably not through a door.

I would not recommend this for anal play as it doesn’t have an anchor or handle. God forbid you lose your grip and lose the damn thing.

I used this for solo play but I wouldn’t be shy to introduce it to my boyfriend. It is inexpensive and such a pleasant color, it would be a great gift to give to a friend for just about any appropriate occasion. This toy is quite noisy, so I would suggest using it in the privacy of your own home.

Lastly, it says it is waterproof but after submerging in water I found the batteries had gotten wet. I think it would be fine for the shower though.

Intimates Basic Jasmine is a plastic vibe. It is phthalates free and hypo-allergenic. The material is food-grade material and Latex free. So you can use it bravely if you have a latex allergy without worry. When I opened the clam shell it came in I didn't immediately smell anything, but if you get your nose down there it does that have that "new toy" smell; a bit sterile and fresh plastic smell. I really loved the texture it's not a bare smooth plastic but it is like a micro-velvet texture to it, still smooth but a bit of resistance on the surface. It is my favorite cover for sex toys. The toy has this wonderful texture from head to base with exception of the knob. The knob is hard plastic. The toy feels sturdy and I feel like this toy would hold up for a very long time. Especially for the price!

The Jasmine basics Intimate is a hard plastic and non-flexible but has a soft velvety feel to it. Long and slender with segmented parts, though the segments can be difficult to feel once inserted because it lacks girth. The head is rounded and slightly larger and that is easy to feel. The base is hard and ribbed for easier grip while changing the batteries or turning the toy on.

Two modes: Off and on. It easy to switch off and on but I would be worried that it could turn itself on in a drawer if the batteries are not removed. It performed very well. It has a very strong vibes but it has a strong sound that goes with it. The vibrations are strong and fast. You connot turn it down to a lower setting, if you can I can't notice the difference.

This toy is very easy to keep clean as it doesn't have a porous cover or a sticky skin. I would imagine the only thing this toy would need is just a wipe down after play. I would recommend disinfecting this with a isopropyl alcohol solution to keep the toy hygienic. I would always check the battery pack after using in shower or bath tub to make sure it stayed dry. I did not use lube with this toy, but since it is plastic it compatible with all lube types. It is a small toy it can just be tucked in a drawer, or in the mattress. It won't pick up lint while you're not looking!

It arrived to my house, of course, in a discreet, plain white box from "Web Merchants." (Thank you EdenFantasys!) When I opened the box, I found a clam shell case with the toy inside. It was easy to open. The insert came some tips for use right on the box and instructions. More in-depth instructions were found inside of the box which included how to install the batteries, troubleshooting and proper use. It doesn't have a recycling print on it so I am not sure if the clam shell itself can be recycled. I will be recycling the inserts though.

I would not recommend traveling with this toy unless you removed the batteries. The way the toy turns on, though seems secure, may turn on if jarred in a purse, suitcase or backpack.

I think this is great vibe for someone other than me. My review seems to point out a lot of negative aspects of because it didn't work with me. This is my first vibe I am already going to try out something new. So I am giving this vibe a good rating as its seems like a wonderful toy but maybe not for me.
