Beautiful piece of heaven, yet short lived.
Overall a great toy. My only complaint is the fact that my pulse mode doesn't work anymore, looks like it is time to move on to something new!Published: August 12, 2008
Pros:
Aesthetically pleasing, feels great, quiet.
Cons:
Buttons difficult to press sometimes, pulse mode gets stuck.
When I first received this toy I was thrilled. I couldn't wait to take it out of the package. It looked gorgeous, the shape, color and texture were perfect. At first I was kind of confused as to which side to use but I figured that out soon enough. Even with being able to view the actual size before getting it I thought it was a bit smaller than I had originally expected.
Come to find out, even though it was small it was surprisingly powerful for it's size. It felt totally amazing! It got me to where I needed to go in record time. I was so surprised because usually it takes me quite awhile. The pulsations were absolutely the best part. There are three speeds to choose from but I found the second one the best. The third one was just way too fast for me, it didn't seem to be able to get to it's full power with such short pulses. The first one seemed to have too much down time inbetween pulses.
Occasionally I would find the buttons were hard to press, maybe it was just my long acrylic nails getting in way though. Unfortunately after a few weeks of use I had a bigger problem. I put the Laya spot in the pulsation mode and it would pulse a few times and then just stop! There was no fixing this. Once I even took the batteries out when it was stuck and put them back in thinking it would help, bad idea! It wouldn't come back on at all! Eventually after taking out and putting back in the batteries a few times it came back to life but only partially. It now still works in just the straight vibe mode but I really miss the pulsing. I'm not sure how much longer it will last. I expect I will have to find a replacement toy soon.

Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

waiting and wanting!

RadRachSo my partner and i decided to check out this site and order a bunch of new items. I just ordered the LAYAspot and it should be here friday! Ehh i cant wait! How does everyone feel about this cute toy? -
reading the MANY many reviews on the toy will give you a good idea about the overall feelings and consensus of the toys.

it's nice that there are so many user submitted reviews on this site. it's so hard to choose a toy, especially an expensive one, with only the manufacturer description.

LayaSpot Questions
-
So, I just posted a review of this toy on my blog and and am rereading some reviews here. I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.
Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?
Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).
Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?
Just looking for different experiences with these things.. -

I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.I've heard that fun factory toys can stink to high heaven, and I have no idea why they would because they're supposed to be 100% silicone. I have other silicone toys and they don't smell at all. Maybe it's not the toy itself but the packaging that surrounds it? Sorry I'm not much help, but the smell that people talk about with FF toys is enough for me to be wary of buying one.

I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.I have since pitched my instructions, but I think mine said splashproof rather than waterproof. I got the Toyfluid (water-based) lube, and mine was smell-free! All of my FF toys have been totally odorless, actually.

Thank you for viewing LAYAspot – clitoral stimulator review page!

That's no good- it might be defective. Try getting in touch with Fun Factory, they're a good company and might replace it.
Good review, but it sucks that it broke on you. If only these things had warranties (or cute repairmen who could come out to fix them)!
That's a manufacturer's defect, you should have called up or written the company for an exchange. Most are happy to oblige.
