Bendi-Booster
The Booster Vibe provides sufficiently strong vibrations, an innovative "Boost Button" and high quality material. Drawbacks include attraction of fuzz, and an unfortunate noise level. However, it is a well designed and stimulating toy overall.Published: September 1, 2009
Pros:
Giving Material, Steady Vibes, Stimulating Ribbing, Good Size
Cons:
Somewhat Noisy, Attracts Fuzz
Use
The Booster vibrator by Fun Factory is a G-spot stimulating vibe, I'm partial to clit stimulation though, so I was hoping for a nice strong vibration there. The shaft is very squeezable and flexible, a little floppy but not flaccid-floppy. I expected something much larger, so I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with the size of the Booster Vibe.
The characteristic "Boost Button" was particularly interesting, and while it was neat and innovative, it was a tad uncomfortable to use, and holding it down sort of hurt my finger, especially after a few minutes.

Material / Texture
The material is a glowing pink color, slightly translucent and very smooth with a lightly velvety texture. It is quality silicone, so I didn't detect any odor or funny taste to it, but it does attract lint and dust and pet fur like a magnet. However, it is hypo-allergenic, phthalates-free, latex-free and non-porous. This equals a very safe and hygienic toy, especially compared to questionable materials like Jelly. A quick wash in the sink can take care of the lint and debris, but you'll want to make sure it's totally dry before storing it.
I have to say, the little eyes and smile of the head, really don't do anything for me. It's kind of a strange design, but then, it is the third generation (3G) of Fun Factory's "Patchy Paul."
Also keep in mind that, to be on the safe side in protecting your investment in a silicone toy, you shouldn't use silicone lube, or store it directly in contact with some other silicone toys, or funky chemically materials, like jelly. Stick it in a plastic bag, or wrap it in a soft cloth, and you'll be fine.

Design / Shape / Size
The toy's shaft is top to bottom in circular ribbing, which graduates in size and feels fabulous, it is a great thrusting toy. The girth is very manageable and the material is squishy and squeezable, making it a pretty acceptable beginners toy where insertion is concerned. The size is comparable to a quarter graduating to a little larger than a half dollar.
The head did a moderate job of seeking out my G, but bear in mind that many need a firm stimulation pressing against their G-spot and this is a very soft, bendable toy. Now, for those that are perhaps new to the toy/penetration scene, this could be a fabulous benefit, because the material is very forgiving.
Where discretion is concerned, there's really nothing else this toy could be, and it's not an ideal "under the pillow" toy. It's also relatively loud, particularly when the Boost Button is in action- and believe me, once you press it, you won't want to let it go. A think blanket sort of muffles it, and a moderately loud TV on with provide some distraction noise, so that you probably couldn't hear it through most doors. But in a dorm setting, you can probably forget about using it discreetly enough for another person in the same room not to hear it.

Functions / Performance / Controls
Firstly, let me tell you, it took me two full minutes of trying before I figured out how to open the base of the Booster Vibe to get the batteries in. So here's the trick: firmly hold the base of the toy and the base of the shaft, and twist. The battery cradle itself is really high quality and dependably built. So here's what the controls look like, there's the Booster Button, located at the very bottom of the base, then there's the ( - ) button further up the front, and the ( + ) above that.
Controls
( + ) = turns on the toy with one press, scrolls through the settings when the toy is on and you hold it down, and controls the intensity increase when quickly press it.
( - ) = turns the toy off with a single press, or controls intensity when you hold it down and press when it's at the lowest.
( * ) = Boost Button, provide impressive power boost at any time, including during patterns.
Functions
( + ) Wave/roller coaster
( + ) Pulse
( + ) Fluttery pulse
( - ) Returns to steady vibration at any time
( * ) Provides extreme BOOST of power at any time
Also, four times now I've had the Booster Vibe sitting on my bed, and it just decided to start buzzing away, apparently of its own free will, so I'd suggest taking that batteries out for storage. Of course, you should to this any way to preserve the life of your batteries.
My only other complaint, is that to turn it off, you've either got to snap the cap off the bottom, or scroll the intensity all the way down before a press of the ( - ) button will turn it off. For discretion, a quick turn off is kind of important. The Booster Vibe definitely loses pleasure points for being relatively loud and not having an automatic shut-off.

Care and Maintenance
Because the Booster Vibe is made of silicone, steer clear of silicone lubes. Unless you really need a silicone lube and are into experimenting with expensive vibrators and hoping they don't melt, opt for a water-based lubricant. (Fun Factory does provide a packet)
The material does attract an impressive amount of lint and fuzz, but a quick rinse takes care of that pretty sufficiently. I keep it stored in a plastic bag, which also helps cut down on debris attraction, and also keeps it from direct contact with other silicone and materials like Jelly that have a high chemical content and could result in a bad reaction together.
Gentle soap and warm water, or toy cleaner/wipes, will keep your Booster Vibe fresh and clean, but I wouldn't attempt to boil it, it isn't waterproof and does have a motor in it. As long as you keep liquid away from the seam where the battery pack meets the rest of the toy, you could probably wipe it down with a 10% bleach for further cleansing, especially if you're planning on sharing. (For less hassle, just slap a condom over this bad boy and share away.)

Packaging
Fun Factory always has such smart, sharp looking packaging. Classic red and a buttery tan color, there's a magnet closing flap, which opens up to provide a diagram and ton of information, and there's nothing trashy about any of it. There's even some humor where, on the side, you are informed through pictures where the toy is not intended to stimulate. (ie: your ear.)
The included folded pamphlet is a world of information, and they do provide a packet of lube, but batteries are NOT included, so it's up to you to have those 4 AAA's at the ready.

Thank you for viewing Booster vibrator – g-spot vibrator review page!

He does look like "Paul" - I love the bright color! I have trouble with Fun Factory battery compartments too
Great review!
Nice Review! I really found your description of the controls useful! It's a shame you didn't end up liking the toy that much though.
Great review!
I think I like the 2nd gen fun factory toys better
Thanks for the review I want to get my wife one. How was the power?
Fun Lover: Could have used a tad more, but this one did get me off while holding down the Boost Button, about halfway down the shaft is where the vibration is strongest and I found that to be better for direct stimulation. The functions feel pretty nice too.
4 AAAs? They coulda just used 2 AAs LOL.
The pink version is almost.. tranclucent-ish in the pictures. Funny. It's a shame this one didn't rock, though. I'm usually a fan of them but will still clear.
Awesome review. I love the look of this vibe.
