Bendie

My wife and I thought this was a good vibrator and was given a four, because I believe since there are many settings, it is waterproof, and especially the memory chip really make this toy good. The only reason I'm not giving this vibrator a five is because to me it's more for experienced to users and it can be a little prodding when playing with.

Use

Today I have the Ripple G Silicone Pleasure Bendie, from California Exotic, it is another vibrator from the pure silicone collection. The vibrator is advertised as a G-spot vibrator, but my personally believe that it's just a regular vibrator. It does have a little bit of a curved end at the tip, but the diameter and the ripples to me are more characteristics of a normal vibrator. I believe though I will leave it to your opinion on the fact of whether this worked as a g-spot vibrator. It does on the other hand make a great clitoral vibe and somewhat of a decent vibrator. I think the toy is more for those who like bigger toys, as my wife wasn't to thrilled and it was somewhat painful. I will explain a little a later more in the performance section on how this vibrator was painful, but I wouldn't recommend this toy for beginners to more its more for someone who has a some experience.

I think this toy is also travel friendly. It can fit inside any suitcase or purse depending on the size of purse you car. It wouldn't be discreet though if someone saw this. Almost forgot to add that this vibrator takes three AAA batteries.

Material / Texture

There are two different materials used with this vibrator the first being silicone. This material is a food grade silicone, which has some great safety features of being hypo-allergenic, latex free, and non-porous. A couple other great things that make silicone a great material is that it repeals dirt and bacteria and doesn't fall apart with extended friction. The second material is a plastic which is also non-porous. Plastic can sometimes contain what has phthalates, these are toxins that can be in plastics. Fortunately, this vibrator is phthalates free. I have made phthalates a link in case you would like to read more.

The silicone is very smooth even on the ribbed areas, it also has no smell to it. There is a slight drag I believe to silicone, but not one that is very noticeable. The ribs according to my wife didn't add any extra stimulation. The toy is also some what squishy, but has the vibration apart that goes up the center, which makes the toy somewhat hard especially at the tip of the toy were the vibration part is placed. This part of the toy gave of some complication. It reminded me of a glass toy were I have read review that say to be gentle when using. This toy gave me that same perception as my wife didn't enjoy it being moved to fast or spun. She would sometimes cringe and tell my not to do that. So I definitely had to take it slow which I think took away from some of the performance.
    • Flexible
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

I really did enjoy the size, shape, and design of this vibrator, but of course my wife didn't enjoy the somewhat stiffness I guess from the internal part of the toy. The toy is designed with six ripples which go across the bottom of the toy, two curves, and a bulbous tip on the end of the toy. I personally think all of these things were great ideas for extra stimulation or just design in general. I think the ribs are designed to give extra stimulation to the walls of the vagina and that the tip of course is used to stimulate the g-spot. Nether of the worked to well for us as my wife didn't feel the ribs and the tip gave stimulation, but as stated before we just had to be very gentle and careful using the toy. Another great part of this design is the flexibility of the vibrator, as there is a part inside when you flex will actually somewhat hold the vibrator in place. I have a picture so hopefully that will help more with the idea.

There are a few different sizes and dimensions as the toy does have a few curves and part of it is plastic. So I want to give those this might make it a little more easier to determine whether you might enjoy this as a g-spot vibrator.

Dimensions:
9 inches in length
6 1/4 inches of insert-able length
6 inches in diameter around bulbous tip
5 1/2 inches around middle hump
5 inches around on bottom hump close to plastic handle
4 1/2 inches around in between middle and bottom hump
2 1/2 inches on the length of the plastic

So as you can tell there are many dimension on this toy.

    • Flexible
    • Not discreet

Functions / Performance / Controls

There is a positive to this section that I really did appreciate, included with this product was the battery instruction paper also shows each vibration. I would give an image, but it's kind of small and wouldn't be easily seen. The control is on the plastic part of the toy. It is two buttons one for the power on/off and the other is for the vibrations. Performance of the vibrations was good there were only a few my wife didn't enjoy. She isn't a big fan of the low vibrations, she rather enjoys the medium to high vibrations. I cannot attest to how long the batteries last, since we have only used it a few times. This toy wasn't toy noisy even with the strong vibrations it couldn't be heard thru a wall or door. Another neat component of this toy is a memory chip that resumes your last function used. This toy is waterproof, but we did not use it in water although I did fill the sink up and submerged the vibrator for 30 minutes to test it out. I would highly recommend using it in the water, unless you have lubricant. This toy is somewhat difficult to insert even though my wife was a little wet.

The vibrations are:
Vibrate(High) - Constant and Strong.
Vibrate(medium) - Constant and Medium Strength.
Vibrate(low) - Constant and Low Strength.
Gradient Burst - Starts Slow and then Increases in Strength with Burst Sensations.
Intermittent - Pulsating from Low to High Strength.
Surge - Very Fast Pulsation.
Inta-Surge - A Throbbing Pulsation Very Strong.
Even Step - A Throbbing Sensation with Medium Strength.
Roller Coaster Spurt - Strong Burst with a Pause and then Strong Burst each Burst is about 3 seconds.
Pulsate - A Throbbing Sensation with Low Strength.
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

For care the toy is easily cleaned with a toy cleaner, wipes, soap and water or even boiling the silicone. If you decide to put this in boiling water I recommend to stand there and hold the plastic above water. I recommend that only because I'm not sure if the plastic would melt on the bottom of your pan or how heat resistant the plastic is. We used a toy cleaner and a rag to clean the vibrator. I would also recommend a toothbrush or something with soft bristles to clean the ripples, since after I had cleaned it and it had dried there was still a little residue around the ripples.

We choose to store this in the box in our draw. We did this just because it's easier for us, because we do not have a actual toy box and the draw we is a clothes draw we emptied so there is plenty of space to keep the vibrator in the box.

With this vibrator since it is silicone the only lubricant that can be used is a water based lubricant. Silicone lubes will break down silicone, so they aren't recommended for use.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The packaging to this toy isn't discreet. It is a clear container so you would be able to tell what this was if you saw it from a distance. It did come with instructions on how to insert the batteries and it also has a picture and small descriptions of each setting. I did say it was good for storage, because it was easy for us to use. Though if you do have some were to put it then throwing the box away is perfectly fine.

    • Good for storage
    • Not discreet

Experience

We had an alright experience playing with the vibrator. The only downside was just that it is rather large and can be difficult to insert, along with playing had to be very careful. It was still a fun vibrator I think it just takes a little more experience with these toy to be successful.

Thank you for the detailed review. Lots of lube and very slow insertion should help ease your wife's discomfort with this thicker toy; that's what I always do.
