G-Ki - g-spot vibrator by Je Joue - review by Airen Wolf

After staring at the product description of the G-Ki and carefully reading over each and every review I finally screwed up the courage, closed my eyes and ordered the toy! It carries a pretty hefty price tag and I have been disappointed before by a lovely looking toy that just doesn't, quite, work with my body. Still the other Je Joue toys I own have made me very happy, so this was a calculated risk.


The toy arrives in a lovely black, hard cardboard box, tied with a ribbon and with the words 'Je Joue' emblazoned in silver on the box top. The box ties with a black ribbon and just screams elegance.

The toy is on a plastic molded tray that I found awkward to use so I removed it and the rubber tray in the bottom of the box allowed the charger and the toy to rest comfortably inside the box. It looks very sophisticated sitting on my dresser.


The Gi-ki is composed of food-grade silicone; is latex free, non-porous, phthalates free, and hypo-allergenic. The silicone has a matte finish which means there is quite a lot of drag on the skin. A touch of waterbased lube will solve that issue if you prefer a silkier, more slippery ride. If you prefer silicone lube I strongly suggest testing a small inconspicuous area of the toy for interaction before slathering the lube on.

The toy measures 9 inches in total with 5 of those being insertable. It has a circumference of 4 inches making this toy a fairly medium sized toy. It is substantial enough, at 1.5 pounds, to get the job done but not heavy enough to make your wrist sore should you prefer to use the toy as a clitoral stimulator. Since it does vibrate in the handle of the toy is can make your hand tingle which can be irritating for some users.


Here is where the toy really shines for me; it vibrates at both ends and the head of the toy can be curled inward to customize the angle of the head of the toy. This makes it easier to get the perfect G spot angle.

Then Je Joue steps it up another notch by having the G-Ki also bend in the middle! You can curl up the head of the toy, then curl up the entire toy so that you are stimulating the G spot while stimulating the vulva/clitoral area. This is an amazing feeling if you are lucky enough to have an easily reached and stimulated G spot.

The head of the toy is round and blunt meaning you can also use this as a thrusting toy, solo or with a partner. There is a bit of give in the head of the toy making it less likely you will cause terribly painful bruising but use care as this toy is still fairly long.

This toy can be used as a clitoral vibrator; a dual stimulator; G spotter; teaser for nipples, scrotum, penis, anal ring; or a mild neck massager. In the bent form the toy could be used as a prostate stimulator as long as you are used to larger sized toys.


The G-Ki offers five levels of straight vibration accessed by two metal buttons on the control panel. The vibrations start off pretty moderately and escalate to a deep thrumming vibration that are easily felt through out the toy. Subsequent presses will take you through several levels of vibrational patterns:

*Six yields a strong pulsing pattern felt equally in the head and handle of the toy

*Seven yields a faster but still strong pulsing pattern felt equally in the head and handle of the toy

*Eight yields a rolling escalator type pattern felt through the whole toy

*Nine yields another pulsing pattern that is felt more easily in the handle of the toy

*Ten yields a longer but smoother pulse that is also felt more easily in the handle of the toy Another press takes you to the straight vibrations again.

This toy at it's fastest speed will not numb the clitoris unless yours is very sensitive. It isn't a powerhouse but it's so very versatile that it has something to offer just about any user.


The G-Ki is rechargeable and uses a magnetic connection to charge the battery meaning there is no break in the silicone skin of the toy making it completely waterproof!

Cleaning this baby is as easy as mild soap and water or a commercial toy cleaner. It cannot be boiled or washed in the dishwasher but can be sprayed down with a 10% bleach and water solution.
