Posh silicone O balls - vaginal balls discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Pete's Princess

I had read quite a few articles lately about the benefits of doing Kegel exercises. Kegel exercises strengthen the muscles of your vagina. Some of the benefits are better urine control, treating prolapsed uterus, better sex and more intense orgasms. So, I figured I would give this a try.

I had decided to get these mainly based on the great purple color. When they arrived, the first things I noticed were the bright fun purple color and the balls appeared rather large. I figured I would give these a try despite my reservations about the size.

The color was great and true to what is represented in the photos. The silicone is silky smooth. The pull cord and the connector are quite stretchy. Unfortunately the length between the two balls was way too long for me.

These balls are made of silicone. EF rates silicone a 10 out of 10 on their product safety scale. This means you can use this toy with confidence. It is not porous and does not harbor bacteria like some other materials. Silicone can be will not deteriorate or show wear.

There is some information regarding the texture. The texture consists of some raise swirls and hearts. I could not feel the raised texture when inserted internally.


The balls themselves have a hard plastic ball inside them with another smaller ball inside. The exterior is silicone.

These balls come in four fun colors. The balls have a raised design on them. Each color features a different design. I choose the purple. There is a swirly design with small hearts.

The total length is 8".


The length of the handle is 3". The circular ring has a 5/8" center hole. It is somewhat stretchy so you can get a larger finger into the ring. The section between the balls is 2 1/2".

Each of the balls is 2 3/4" long and has a circumference of 4 3/4"

These are my first Kegel exercisers. I found them to be too large for me. I had to lube up the first one. (Remember only to use water-based lube). I did get that one inserted and became accustomed to it after a while. The problem was when trying to insert the second ball, the string between the two did not easily bend. I found it near impossible to insert the second ball.

I was able to use just the one ball to do Kegel exercises. This meant that the other ball hung out. This was not the best look.

According to EF's material page "Silicone is smooth and not porous. Silicone can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher." Generally, I do not go to the trouble of boiling my silicone toys. Since silicone does not encourage the growth of bacteria, I either wipe my toy down with an EF wipe or I will wash with soap and water.

As with all silicone, it is best to keep this toy away from other silicone toys or silicone lubes. You also want to keep silicone toys out of direct sunlight.

The balls come in a white box with a picture of the product on the front. The front also has the line name and Silicone "O" Balls.

These are given in 5 different languages. At the bottom of the back is California Exotics, Safe and Pure and Pure Silicone. The sides feature the same info.

When you open up the package, you will find your balls inside. There are no directions included with these. The balls are in a sealed clear plastic bag.

These are fun balls. The colors are bright and cheery. The balls are a bit large. I have never had Kegel exercisers before. This was a great surprise. I found the texture on the balls could not be felt internally. The balls do have a bit of drag, so be sure your are well lubricated.
