Big bang for your buck!

This toy feels great considering the cost. Just remember that, since it's made of rubber, it can slide in very easily once you're wet or if you use lubrication it will keep trying to slide out. If you have an imagination you can just think of this as thrusting and it won't bother you at all.

Pros:
Vibrations are strong, girth isn't to large, rubber warms up well, and easily cleans up.
Cons:
If there was any type of clitoral stimulation that would make this toy perfect.

Use

As my first toy I have to say I have been blown away. When I first pulled this out of the packaging, I have to admit, I was worried it wouldn't do a lot for me, but since the batteries have been in I've been having problems putting it down. This would be great for beginners because it feels just like a real penis. I really have no complaints, except it doesn't do clitoral stimulation but that is easily remedied. If this ever does break, I know I will definitely buy another. For the money it does a great job!

Material / Texture

There is a slight smell to the Shane, but it's to be expected. It's made from rubber, so that's what it smells like. You can't really smell it unless it's right under your nose. I would expect that a condom would probably help tone that down. The veins on the shaft are easily felt with your hands and if that's one of your turn on's you'll be impressed. However, once it's inserted it's a little more difficult to feel. I would definitely recommend this for beginners.
    • Light odor
    • Rigid
    • Somewhat porous

Design / Shape / Size

The Shane is shaped like a real penis, except that it has no curve. You can't really manipulate it to curve; however, I found that it still hits the spot. When I first inserted it I thought it might be a bit large but if stimulated enough or if you use lube it'll slide right in. However I have found that since it is so straight it can also slide right back out so be prepared for that. The controls on this are easy however just remember when you think you've topped out there's usually one more click.

This toy is pretty discreet when it comes to sound. I usually turn on a fan for my roommates sake; however, once inserted you couldn't hear it at all. If you have it turned completely up it sounds like a buzzing of a cellphone on a hard surface, when not inserted in anything. If you're traveling with it I would recommenced removing the batteries. All it would take is one small twist for it turn on.

Functions / Performance / Controls

When I first used this I took it the bath with me and hoped that I wasn't about to waste my money; however, it pulled through like a champ. I didn't find any water in the battery compartment and it never hesitated. Even in the water you won't notice much unless it hits the bottom of the tub. The Shane vibrates from tip to almost the battery compartment so there's a lot of stimulation there. You do have to watch your hands though because a quick twist can easily turn the vibrations up or down. I can't really tell you how long the battery life is since I haven't had it for very long but for now I'm still impressed.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Powerful

Care and Maintenance

This toy cleans up VERY easily. Due to it's smooth surface just a little soap and water is all it needs. I would still recommend washing it after every use even if using it with a condom just to be on the safe side. Since this is my first vibrator I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I'm impressed with it.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The package is pretty straight forward, plastic with a woman on it attempting to look sexy. If you're planning on giving it as a gift I would recommend removing it from the packaging, it's definitely not going to turn on your partner.
    • Minimal
    • Not discreet

  • Shane's hottie pink- Would you use it without a condom?
    • I'm still wondering if using this toy with a condom is necessary. I wash it with hot water and antibac toy cleaner before and after each use and I store it in the plastic shell it came in. I keep it as clean as I possibly can. Plus I'm not sharing it with anyone else... Opinions?
    • I am no professional, but by cleaning with every use with antibacterial toy cleaner, and only using it in the orifice it has been dedicated to, I don't think you should have any problems, but I could be wrong.
    • as long as you are only using it in one dedicated hole then yes, washed without a condom is fine. But if you want to share or go from vag to anal use a condom.

  • What are your thoughts on the Rubber/PVC material?
    • Does the material of Shane's Hottie Pink make you want to avoid it at all?
    • No, not at all. I still try all sorts of rubber toys. When using rubber toys it's recommended that you use a condom with them. Other than that, they are really easy to care for and store.
    • I prefer other materials but will go for a rubber toy if I like the style
