Blueberry Bliss: My New Favorite Dish

This toy is great for beginners due to the slimmer design, but also pleasing for more advanced because of the added texture with the bulbs. It creates a wonderful warm-up toy, and a great clitoral stimulation. I recommend this toy to anyone looking for design and power without paying a lot.

Use

This vibrator is designed for vaginal and clitoral use. It is not recommended for anal due to the lack of flare at the base. I did not expect much from this toy based on its price, however, it has definitely turned into a favorite! It has a design that reminds me of an awkward bottle nipple, but this is no baby's toy! It packs some serious power for such a small vibrator. I have mostly used it for clitoral stimulation because I like a lot of pressure and plastic has no give to it. It is basically your standard vibrator, is has some bulbous shape to it, which offers a bit of extra stimulation. It comes in blue, and the title of turbo is not over-exaggerated. Due to the nature of the bulbs on this, it can be used for massage. I noticed just by goofing around that if you turn it on and roll it down your partner's back, it can actually feel pretty good. It's not typically something I use traditional vibes for, but this one has the bulbs, I believe that's why it works so well. As with any vibe similar to this build, you can also use it for nipple stimulation. I don't personally use them for that, because I'm not a fan of my nipples feeling like a motor starting up.

Material / Texture

The Blueberry is made of plastic, and is a sheer blue. You can see the motor on the inside, which is kind of neat. It has a vibrating block that reminds me of those huge curly pens I used as a kid. When you turned it on, the motor looked like that and ran in circles to make the pen create curly lines. Anyway, that was a bit of a creepy memory, so let's move on. The plastic is unscented and has no taste. I think that the reason this vibrator is so noisy is probably due to the material being plastic. It carries the sound just as well as the vibrations. I live alone so I don't really worry about whether or not my dogs hear my vibrator on. I only worry about the cat, who seems to think this is her toy as well. Plastic is nonporous, which is definitely a plus on the hygiene side, and prolongs the usage of the toy. I would also like to note that oil, silicone, and water-based lubes are okay with this material.

The texture is smooth, however there are bulbs along the vibrator to provide added stimulation. It has a 1" diameter overall, but some parts are a little thinner or thicker due to the bulbs along the vibrator. I do not think this hinders a beginner though, as they are not an overwhelming feeling during penetration.
    • No odor

Design / Shape / Size

I like the design of this vibrator because I'm not typically a fan of traditional vibes. My reasoning is that they bore me, I get literally nothing out of vaginal use with them. So unless I'm looking for an expensive clit vibrator, I have no point in getting one. The Blueberry, however, is amazing because of the added bulbs/bulges. They provide that stimulation that I just can't get out of regular vibrators. So instead of just feeling like I found a household bottle to put in my va-jay-jay, I feel like I'm actually using something designed to go there, that gives me extra oomph. Round objects don't have oomph. It is waterproof, which is a fantastic plus, and it has a length overall of 6 1/4" but the bottom part is the knob that discerns the vibrations, so only 5 1/4" is insertable really. It is great for beginners because of the diameter; it is fairly slim and thus a good start out, without being dull. I also think it is great for travel because you can put it anywhere without worry of damaging the material.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Blueberry takes two AAs in the bottom of it, where the dial is. The dial is what controls your vibrations. It has a solid vibration, and you can adjust it from a low vibration to a high one. There are no pulsing or function options. The highest setting is pretty powerful, more so than you would think. It's not earthquake-oh-my-god-I-just-found-Jesus high, but it's higher than you'd expect two AAs to pump out. The vibration is centered at the head of the vibrator; you can see through the material, so you can actually see the vibrator motor and where it's centered. It's fairly close to the tip, and plastic carries vibrations well, so you get a good feel for it. Near the base, it still vibrates well, obviously not as great as at the tip of the vibrator though. No one ever got milk from sucking the bottom of a baby bottle though. Oh man, I crack myself up. Anyway, it performs great in water too, and is submersible. The sound is dulled under water, so you may be able to get away with this one in the bathroom if you play some "relaxing music" to cover the sound up, I mean, make you relax.
    • Easy to use
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

Because the Blueberry is plastic, care and maintenance are very easy. Soap and water will essentially keep it clean, and it can be stored virtually anywhere because plastic doesn't collect lint. The material is safe to store with other vibrators as well, without worry of a chemical reaction. I just throw mine in the drawer with the rest of them, no fuss. It is also no fuss about the lube you use with it. You can use oil, water, or silicone-based lube with plastic.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

It comes in a soft plastic bag enclosure. There is a small paper with some instructions, but typically the only worry is which way the batteries go, which is fairly obvious. The packaging is clear, so you can see the toy on the inside, therefore it is not discreet. You can choose to store the vibrator in the packaging if you choose, but it really shouldn't be a problem with such a versatile material.

Experience

I personally use this toy for warm-up before I use other toys. I do enjoy the texture of the bulbs, but typically I like a lot of girth, so I use it as warm-up before a bigger toy. I continue to use it during the rest of my session though! It serves as a great clitoral stimulation and I can use it with another dildo and can manage quite well. I haven't had any breakdown, and I've not had to change batteries constantly with it. I always enjoy a vibrator that doesn't guzzle batteries. It has been holding up well in the couple of months I've had it. I believe I've changed the batteries perhaps three times, which pans out to about once a month. Not bad, considering I use it on just about every play session solo.
Follow-up commentary
Sadly this toy got left out and eaten by my dog. She likes chewing on plastic things, which is severely depressing for me. I have plans to buy a new one, because this one has become a staple toy in my toy box. I rarity indeed since the price is fairly cheap. This is definitely a cheaper priced toy that everyone should give a try, it's well worth every penny!

Very well-written review! Thanks for writing such a detailed review on this product. I've been looking for a "traditional" vibrator with some interesting features and this one might be a contender. ^_^

  • First vibrator?
    • I've always been pleasured plenty by my partner, but she likes toys and I'm open to try anything really. Plus I'd love to help her make her 'toy' collection (Her ex husband kept most.. wtf?, and the rest were stolen a year later.... EW) and I wouldn't mind having a toy collection either.
The color looks nice, but it doesn't seem very big around. I'm hoping for my best with this and a g-spot vibrator I just ordered too. If I like this okay, going to go for more toys. What's the best vibrator you have (that isn't over 100 dollars, on this website.. not including shipping and handling)?
    • Tango and MiMi are my favourites. :) The Iconic Bullet is great for the price. I love the Fairy, but it's a bit loud (when it comes to discretion).

Internally, I haven't used anything that vibrates yet, but my favourite regular dildo so far is the Ella, and the Amethyst - both are pretty affordable.
    • I love my Cupid's Kiss and my Mono. The Mono is better for beginners, though.

That would depend on what she likes, does she like clitoral, penetrative, g-spot stimulation or all of the above? Does she have a preference for size? color? is she sensitive or does she require quite a bit of stimulation to get her to achieve an orgasm?

Unfortunately no one will be able to point you in the right direction regarding products without that information. Stimulation, arousal and the sensation of orgasm is relatively different depending on the person(s) involved.

I suggest you ask her what she likes, and if she doesn't know maybe try a bunch of different products to help her figure that out.
