Body form vibe by Topco

The first thing that hit me about this vibe, as soon as I opened the package, was the smell. It has a rather unpleasant chemical odor -- maybe it will wear off in time, but it is a bit off-putting. The smell actually transferred to my hands! It was a real turn-off for me; I found myself not being able to concentrate on anything but the scent. [Editor's note: this strong smell is associated with jelly material, which contains phthalates and is not able to be sterilized. Choose consciously, and cover jelly with a condom every time.]

In terms of aesthetics, the Body Form vibe is pleasing to the eye -- the translucent material and flared shape make it an attractive addition to any toy collection.  However, the wider top make it a little difficult for penetrative use, and the vibe (at least for this reviewer) was a little uncomfortable to use for internal play. If you do plan to use this one for penetration, lots and lots (and lots) of lube is the order of the day, believe me. This toy marks the very first time I have ever had to use synthetic lube with a sex toy -- but that baby just wasn't going in without it. The shape of the vibe, which to me seems to be the main selling point, actually seems to be a hinderance in its use as a penetrative toy (much more so than a "straighter" shape would be, in any case).

The vibration is concentrated in the tip of the vibe, and although at its highest setting the vibrations can be felt along the entire shaft, it still results in a rather disappointing "buzz." The designers would have done much better to spread out the vibrations along the entire shaft of the vibe. It took longer than usual for me to get off with this toy, as I was forced to use just the tip in order to maintain the strongest sensations.

On the plus side, the vibe is easy to clean and is totally waterproof, which means that if you do choose this one, you can take it along to the shower or bath. It's also relatively quiet, even on its highest setting -- so you won't have to worry about those nosy neighbours!

All in all, the Body Form Vibe, despite its few pros, does not provide the best "bang" for your buck, especially if you need more than clit stimulation to get the desired result.
