Bunny Buddy Bust

As far as free gifts go, this is better than some. The watch batteries are a real plus, though the rest of the toy is pretty cheap and creepy-looking. The bullet will be too buzzy to appeal to a lot of people, and the fact that it can't be sterilized is a letdown. Many were disappointed because the Mystery Gift was supposed to have a value of $20, but quite frankly, I wouldn't even pay the list price of $15.

The Silicone Bunny Buddy by Cal Exotics has found its way into the lap of just about every regular Eden Fantasys shopper over the past few weeks. It was the number one free gift with purchase sent out to those who requested a mystery gift during a promotion that offered them free with orders of $59 or more.

This bunny is made of TPR Silicone, which cannot be sterilized, and is about 4 1/2" long from the base of the bullet to the ears. It ranges from 1/2" to 1" in diameter, depending on where you measure, so it is quite compact. Because it is TPR Silicone, it's very flexible and can easily be bent in all manner of ways, The texture is quite smooth, though the bunny does have some detailing (face, arms, etc).

The bullet itself is about 3" long and operates with the push of a single button at the base. It requires four watch batteries for use, but luckily, it came with not only one, but two sets. This is great, because even if the bunny or the bullet are not to your liking, those little things are expensive, and you can reserve the batteries for other toys (or your watch). There is only one function, a single, fairly powerful, steady, buzzy vibrate. Inserting the bullet into the bunny sleeve dampens the vibrations, but unfortunately it doesn't do much for the noise. This toy can be heard by anyone in the same room as you, but it's not so loud that it can be heard through a solid closed door or over music.

The advantage to this bunny is that it is a two-part toy: if you only like the sleeve and find the bullet to be too buzzy, you can insert your own bullet. If you think that the sleeve is ridiculous or unnecessary, you can toss it aside and use the bullet. Be sure to put some lube inside before inserting the bullet, otherwise you'll have a hard time getting it back out.

There is a picture of the box on the product page, but for the sake of these free gifts, the Silicone Bunny Buddy arrived packaged in a small plastic baggie, placed inside a Ziplock type bag with the batteries and a single page of instructions on battery insertion. No instructions are included for care or use of the toy, unfortunately, but since all of the information that we need is on Eden, it's not too much of a hassle. TPR Silicone can be cleansed with a mild soap and water or a toy cleaner, but can unfortunately not be rendered completely sterile. It should be used with a water-based lubricant for maximum safety - because this is a silicone blend, silicone lubes would likely damage it.
Experience
We received the pink bunny, as many others did, with all of our orders but one placed during the promotion period. Unfortunately for us, my girlfriend doesn't really care for bullets, so this hasn't been of much use to us beyond a few funny narratives and a laugh or two at how ridiculous it is that they tried to make this cute. It has a pretty creepy-looking face, and there is a weird bulge under the feet (intended to be a tail?) that makes this look like a kids toy that they realized they couldn't sell.
