Overall, the Butterfly Kiss toy is excellent for self play and exploration. I have used this on many occasions by itself and it has truly proven its worth! There was no smell when I received it, nor anything that I did not like about it. The color is great (pink) and the size of the ball on the end is a great size, it reaches where I need it to. The switch is just a button that you push, no hard to maneuver controls or anything to take away from your concentration. It can be a little loud, so I usually use it when I know I will be alone. I don't need that long though- it always gets the job done quickly.

It has three different levels of vibration, giving one enough options to choose from in the moment. I like the feel of it, comfortable and sensual, dual play close to its best. More than once this toy has been able to get the job done, I often prefer it to my other toys. Sometimes the little butterfly part of it can get a bit annoying, but if you move it around and find a comfortable place it's great. I've also found that you can remove the rubber part and you end up with a strong bullet-type vibrator. It's excellent used either way. I don't often use anything but natural lube, but I can imagine that any type of lube would pair well with the toy.

It's the best for its price! It's also waterproof, and using it in the shower or bath is pure joy. Plus you can clean it right then and there so it's ready for the next use! It really is great for self exploration for beginners or those who want an inexpensive toy to get the job done, and get it done well.

I've found that I like to start the toy on the medium speed and then increase it to maximum speed. I also really enjoy using it in the shower, seriously a pleasure.
