Clamp set review

The nipple clamps looked smaller online than they were in person. I have always been curious in S&M and nipple play but have always been too shy at sex toy shops to buy nipple clamps. I walk by the BDSM section and glance shyly at the clamps, collars, and other toys but never really stop to look at the toys.
 
There are three different types of clamps in this package – a tweezers pair, a medium clamp set, and a large clamp set. The first set that caught my eye was the medium clamp set; I thought that was intimidating until I looked at the large clamp set. The large clamp set was huge, and I was scared off by it, wondering if I’d made a mistake by ordering this particular toy.

I placed the tweezers-like set of clamps on my nipples. When I lightly pulled on the clamps, they came off. This set of clamps was flimsy. I thought it would be a good introduction to nipple play, but instead it hurt so badly that I had to take the clamps off a few minutes after putting them on. I think this was due to two reasons; firstly, my placement of the clamps, and secondly, the tweezers couldn't grab a lot of skin. The rubber grips on the clamps also slipped off various times when I was tugging on them.
 
The other pair of clamps I tried was the medium pair. It took a little bit to get these positioned correctly so that when I tugged on them they didn’t come off. These clamps were so much better than the tweezer clamps. The medium set of clamps had a screw that controlled the amount of pressure received and also had more rubber padding than the tweezer clamps.
 
I decided to wait to try the larger pair of clamps. They were huge compared to anything that I’d seen before, and I had endured enough pain/pleasure for the night.
 
I consider myself a novice at both nipple play and S&M. Being a novice, I’m assuming that the light pair of clamps was the tweezers. I disliked these clamps because they lacked adequate rubber padding, and they were incredibly painful to use. I have a very, very high pain tolerance and could not tolerate using these clamps. The medium weight clamps had the perfect weight to them and melded the perfect amount of pleasure with pain. They were fun to tug on, and I’m eager to use them again.

I've worked up to the largest pair of nipple clamps. At first I was intimidated but I finally got up the guts to clamp them to the most sensitive part of my nipples.  I nearly had an orgasm then and there as I adjusted the tension on the clamps. 

I'm so glad that I finally worked up the guts to try the largest setting of these clamps.  The heavier clamps are so much fun when I'm in the mood for pain mixed with pleasure.

I wouldn't suggest someone starting out with the heavy clamps -- work your way up  at your own pace to them and don't be afraid to experiment!
