This toy was definitely designed
I have always been very responsive to clitoral stimulation, so I was very excited and impatient when awaiting the arrival of the
Clitoral Pump by California Exotic. Unfortunately, my expectations exceeded the actual excitement provided by the pump. The interchangeable sleeves that cover the head of the pump do nothing but reduce the suction power of the pump. The jelly material of the sleeves, though soft, is too sticky and the sleeves are difficult to clean due to the protruding nodules. Upon removing the interchangeable sleeves, the suction power greatly improved, but one must be careful not to squeeze the pump too tightly as removing the sleeves also removes the jelly barrier protecting your skin from the hard plastic edges of the pump.
On the plus side, this product has strong vibrating abilities considering its diminutive size. Also, besides being so small and discreet, the pump produces a low level of noise; it certainly cannot be heard through a door. The battery compartment is somewhat confusing at first and it took several attempts to get the batteries in the proper direction. The screw on end is secure and sturdy, but the hand pump feels somewhat less so. At times I felt as though I might break the quick purge valve that is used to release pressure from the clitoris (or anywhere else you might use this product). Also, the flexible air hose feels as though it might pull loose if you are not gentle with it. The hand pump itself works just like the pump on a blood pressure monitor, so most anyone should be able to use this product with little difficulty.
Overall, this product is merely satisfactory. Though I was able to reach orgasm, by the time I had done so my hand was cramping from the excessive squeeze and release action necessary to provide adequate stimulation. Reaching orgasm with this product takes a significant amount of effort, time, and hand strength, so if you desire hands-free or low-maintenance play, you’d be better off looking elsewhere.
I have found similar cleaning issues with a toy with the little fingers. Ugh
The toy page claims that those soft parts are actually silicone, which is always a plus... but that it matters much if they get in the way of suction.
