Could have been better
I still really love the idea of the We-Vibe II. Maybe if they came out with a 2.1 version that had a little more power and a longer charge it could be the perfect toy. I still think it is worth trying, especially if you don't need very strong vibrations to send you over the edge. I was so excited when I first saw the We-Vibe. I am a sex toy junkie and the idea of having a toy I could use hands free during intercourse sounded like a dream come true. My husband bought it for me as a birthday present after I had lusted after it for a couple months.
I love that it's made of pure silicone*, it's rechargeable and very quiet. It's completely water-proof so it's easy to clean. Plus, if a toy can hit my G-spot and my clit at the same time, I am in heaven!
Oh, We-Vibe II, I wanted to love you, I really did. The first issue I had with it was the vibrations weren't very strong. Also, the charge only lasts an hour. Even so, the strength of vibrations that occur when it's freshly charged are not the same as the strength of vibrations after 30 minutes of play.
I also had the same problem with the We-Vibe II as I have had using a standard vibrating cock ring. It doesn't stay in the "right" spot and kept shifting. In the missionary position, with my partner's pubic bone pressing into mine was the only way it really felt like it was doing the trick. I ended up just using it externally so that I could get more friction from rubbing it against my clit.
I've also found it's kinda fun to use one end vaginally and the other anally at the same time. It is a little tricky this way though, as once it's inside, you cannot adjust the speed. It also can be used on the penis if you wrap the toy around the shaft and use the toy to stroke up and down.
* When using silicone toys, only use water-based lubes as silicone-based lubes will eat away at the finish.

We decided on this toy because the store employee allowed us to see one out of the box and hold it and see what it does. by going to the store I got a better view of other things here that I was interested in.

I agree - head to your local toy store. That's how I decided to buy mine. Feel it, get a first-hand idea of the size, flexibility, etc. Then, if you like it, come back to Eden and buy it. If your local toy store is anything like the ones around here, they don't give half the number of discounts as Eden Fantasys. :)

OK, it seems like quite a few people have had trouble using this during couple play, myself included. Has anyone got any useful tips? The main problem is that once it's in and my BF is penetrating, the part that rests on the clitoris just moves around too much and I can't seem to orgasm because of it. A simple yes or no works for me. Please feel free to get in depth on why or why not it didn't work well. I'm thinking of this as a gift for my husband on his belated birthday.
Also, has this caused discomfort to anyone's penis? -
It works better for me as a solo toy. My husband is on the smaller side of average and he was able to fit inside of me with this comfortably, but I prefer smaller girthed things so this plus him was a little too much for me. I haven't revisited it in a while though.

I think it's because the penis has a tendency to slide beside it rather than under it which makes it move around more. Still experimenting with it.

It is really quite easy to insert. The motors are smaller than a penis, and it is really thin where the two motors connect.

I guess I should have added that we also tried using it doggy style and with me on top. While using it during doggy, I had to use my hand to press the clit stimulator to my clit. With me on top, it worked best when I leaned forward so that the clit stimulator was wedged between his pelvis and mine.
The toy measures about 2" wide and 3" long. Both ends are about 1" wide but the part that's intended to sit on the clit has a fatter circumference (if that makes sense).
