Couture seduction - vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Lucidity

When I first saw the Couture Seduction, I thought it was a butt toy. When it arrived, I realized it was not. It's meant for vaginal use and has a shape that is supposed to hit the G-Spot, I think. Despite the fact that it is made for vaginal use, there is no reason it can't be used anally. It has a flange, can be sanitized between orifices, and is a comfortable shape. However, if you get this toy to use anally, know that it doesn't have the bulb-and-neck shape that keeps toys inside, it will slip out if you aren't sitting on it. I prefer to use it anally, as my anatomy doesn't match up with the curve, so it does little for me vaginally. If you think your G or P-spot will line up, you will love this toy. Especially as those who choose to use it vaginally can use it hands-free.

One of the places the Couture Seduction excels is in its material. It's a firm core wrapped in velvety, luxurious silicon. It has a little drag and is a bit of a lint collector, but not the worst. The controller is hard plastic and the cord is wrapped in a flexible tube that appears to be plastic.

The toy itself is just over four inches long, an inch and a quarter across at the widest point, an inch down the neck. The base is three and a half inches across and two and a quarter inches wide. The cord is nineteen inches long and the controller is three and three-quarters long and one and a half inches across.


It's fairly firm, but does have some give, so should be comfortable for most users.


I would recommend the Couture for beginners, or those that know it will fit their body. Size queens/kings and those that require intense pressure will not be thrilled with this toy, it will be too small and/or not have enough of a curve. It is fairly small and easy to hide and travel with, but it surely looks like a sex toy.

The bullet and therefore, vibrations are housed in the tip of the toy, delivering fairly strong vibrations to the users G or P-spot if they happen to be lined up with the curve. There are two buttons on the controller; one to turn it on and off, and one to scroll through the functions. There is a lovely metallic filigree, making the controller look that much nicer. It's a comfortable shape and fits well in the hand.

The buttons light up when it's turned on, which is a cute touch.

The whole thing is really pretty quiet, but not "whisper quiet" as the box claims. The vibrations are fairly strong, especially for using two AA's. The vibration patterns are:

Pulse
Faster Pulse
and Erratic

They're fine, but not amazing. Aside from that fact that it's silicone, another wonderful thing about the Couture is that fact that it's waterproof, and works quite well under water. The cord and all the connections seem really solid.

Because the Couture is waterproof, you don't have to worry about washing it with soap and water, toy cleaner or a 10% bleach solution. You can do this between orifices and/or partners and not have to worry, because of its lovely silicone skin.

Do not use silicon lube if you want your toy to survive, and don't store it touching any other toys if you don't want it to melt.

The packaging is mostly a plastic box. No nudes on it, but it will clearly be identifiable as a sex toy. It can store your toy or be recycled.

The Couture was not a win for me, but it's a really well-made toy, which, should be great for a person whose anatomy it will fit. I can't give the toy a terrible rating just because it didn't work for me.
