OK, my wife has an irresistable affection for the color purple. I now know that anything purple will eventually end up in our toy collection. Our collection is getting quite large do to the fact that the color is everywhere. Good, bad or ugly, if its purple, she will have and love it! On to the review:

This is another traditional based vibrator made by NMC Ltd. It does have a few tricks up its proverbial sleeve. The first thing I noticed was the wrist strap. Yes, this one is waterproof and made to go swimming. The great thing is that no matter how much lube, or wet and slippery this one becomes, it would be almost impossible to drop it.

The next trick up its sleeve is that this is a ten function toy. Yes, it has the normal vibrations, but added a few more variations to them.

This toy can be used for couples play and also solo play. It is designed to stimulate the clitoris, labia, nipples and of coarse be inserted. It can also be used to stimulate the male scrotum and perineum. It also makes another wonderful all over body massager. Although not intended for anal play, the strap does make an adequate safety measure in keeping the toy from becoming lodged. I personally don't recommend it for this purpose, but I found it noteworthy.

The Cupid's Love Wand is made primarily from ABS plastic. ABS plastic is phthalate and latex free and is also Hypo-allergenic. It is completely rigid, as traditional vibrators are.

There is no smell with this vibrator. The vibrator has a extremely smooth texture that has little to no resistance feel to the skin, when rubbed. There are two small ridges on opposite sides of the shaft. They are barely noticeable to sight and feeling. They were made by the molding process.

There is also a nylon wrist strap with a heart pendant covering the tied end. The heart is made from a silver covered plastic.

This particular vibrator can be used by beginners and also experienced users, The size is not intimidating and the added functions would benefit even the pros.

This particular vibrator is 7 inches long. The shaft is 5 /4 inches long, which is also the insertable length. The cord is attached at 5/8 inch from the base. The base is 1 1/4 inches long. The controls are two rubber buttons, located in the very end of the vibrator. They are also recessed, so accidental pressing is not likely to occur.

There is also a wrist strap attached to the base. Talk about shower or tub usage. The strap has approximately a 3 1/2 inch diameter with a heart(silver plastic), covering the tied ends.

This vibrator comes in purple, blue, pink, glitter purple, glitter pink, and glitter blue. A great assortment of colors certain to please the eye.

Again, I would not recommend taking this one on a plane. It will fit nicely into a purse or suitcase, so the road trip isn't out of the question. It is small enough that hiding this toy isn't a problem.

This would make a good toy for both new and experienced users. The size isn't intimidating, and the different vibration functions should be attractive to the more experienced users. It can be used by couples, with the thought that this is a hard, rigid toy. Too much pressure will cause pain and discomfort.

There are two control buttons located at the base. These are made from rubber and are waterproof. Any one of the buttons will turn the toy on. One button is for off and the other controls the functions. This particular toy also remembers its last setting, until the battery cap is removed. The vibrations for this toy are located near the tip. They can be felt strongly throughout the toy, as it has a solid plastic body.

The vibration are pretty strong. The noise level goes from a battery operated shaver to an electric shaver. There is rattling in the base on high, but disappears when this toy is in contact with the skin or inserted.

Care and maintenance of this toy is quite easy. Do not boil. This can cause the plastic to distort, rendering it useless or no longer waterproof. Soap and water clean this toy just fine. You can also use a toy cleaner or alcohol, if needed. If you share, wear a condom. I always recommend not to share.

This toy is compatible with all lube types. Remember to clean before and after each use.

This toy takes two AA batteries. Please remember to keep spares on hand and remove the batteries for storage. Also, this toy has an o-ring on the base where the battery cover screws in. Make sure it is clean and in good order before taking this one for a swim.

This toy has no special storage requirements. It will not actively attract dust or lint. Make sue it is clean and dry when you store it.

The packaging is a see through plastic. It is in no way discreet. The box is 3 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches deep and 8 1/8 inches high. It also has a 1 1/4 extension on the top for a hook. The box opens from the top and easily closes securely to store the toy.

It lists the ten vibrating functions on the side of the box. The back gives the battery installation directions, states the material it is made from, and says that it is non-toxic.

The box makes a perfect storage container for the toy. Although the toy has no special requirements, it's good to have the information around. This toy also comes with an instruction manual.

As I said earlier, my wife bought this for the color purple. Yes, I am almost 100% sure that's all that caught her eye. I have to say I'm glad it did catch her eye.

Set aside that this can be used for the traditional vibrators multi-purposes, this one really gets the job done. It has very intense vibrations. I started out low, teasing the usual areas. Then, when she least expected it, this one went to work and fulfilled its job of bringing her over the mountain. I have to say that it worked as close to the full function rabbits, that we have been exploring.

I can't think of any downsides to this toy. It worked and will probably become a favorite. Now, on to my wife's thoughts:

I think my obsession with purple is clear to all by now, that is one reason I bought this Cupid Love Wand. The wrist cord with heart attached, also caught my eye. I do seem to like things that have some kind of uniqueness behind them.

The Cupid's Love Wand is going to become another of my favorites. It is silky smooth to the touch. This Love Wand is non-intimidating in both size and girth, the base tapers to a bullet like end. This is one of the quieter vibrators that I own, it barely makes any noise at all, even on its highest settings. The sound would be difficult to hear under the covers, it is a cross between a cellphone on vibrate and a small electric razor (the quieter version of razor).

I love that as gentle as this vibrator looks and feels, it does have 10 different vibration settings. This sets it apart from some of the others I have tried. The variations in the settings gives a sample of everything for everyone. The vibrations also are not overwhelmingly strong. There are some that I like more than others, such as I love setting number four (step) and setting number five (Hi-Lo), they are the two I get the most stimulation from vaginally. For Clitoral, nipple, and other sensitive areas I seem to like either the high, medium, or low vibration. The vibrations are perfect for me at all of the above settings.

The two settings I care the least for settings seven (High Pulse) and eight (Low Steeplechase). I think it has to do with the abrupt stopping or pause that those two settings have. It also could be that I am not advanced enough to appreciate those sensations. Each time my husband or I hit one of those settings while cycling through, I end up having a weird reaction to it, a knee-jerk reaction. In those split seconds, I will bolt upright thinking we broke it, that does not go over well in keeping with the moment.

The wonderful thing about the Cupid's Love Wand is that it has a memory, so being able to semi-avoid the settings, I care not to experience, can be accomplished. The wrist strap that comes attached to the toy can only be removed by cutting it off, but neither of us wants to do that, because that is one of the reasons I bought it. There are two things we end up doing with it, we either use the wrist strap or we bunch it in the hand we control the base with. It does make a great safety feature when I shower and want to get into the mood.

I like that the controls are simple, one button turns it on and off, while the other cycles through the vibration settings. This is where placement of the wrist strap comes in handy. I always put the wrist strap on the wrist that is closest to the on/off button. I have my husband do the same, this way we don't have any mishaps on switching settings (or at least we don't). Another way to avoid this could be remembering the placement of the tab that the wrist cord goes through, if the tab is facing up-the on/off switch is on the left. If the tab is facing downward the on/off switch is on the right, of coarse this is only helpful if it is to dark to see.

I would recommend this viberator for beginners, it is probably to tame and simple for advanced users to really enjoy. Novices to vibrators can appreciate the sampling of settings, easy of use, and the smoothness when the vibrator is in motion. This would be the first vibrator that I could recommend for some anal play, because the wrist cord could act as a retrieval cord, but please use caution if you do.
