Cute Design but the Vibrations are Horribly Slim to None!

It may be a good toy for very first beginner, but for anyone else, it would probably be a disappointment.

Use

If you have never used a vibrator before, it might be an okay choice for you, but I would not waste my money on this product knowing how it would have been beforehand.

Honestly, I could hardly feel the vibrations at all; it has a button to push, but to get it to be a little more "strong", you have to undo the vibrator to half-way open it. It is adorable in its cclor and the design, of course, but in the use of this product, I was very disappointed.

Material / Texture

The material reminds me of velvet-like feel. There is no taste to it as it is not edible, obviously; no, the texture does not add stimulation. As I stated before, this vibrator has like no true stimuation at all like I thought it would. It would be best for beginners, I guess, but even I am a beginner at this stuff, and I was very disappointed.

Design / Shape / Size

I love the design and feel of this product, and of course, the color is awesome too; the one I received as a free gift was purple! The size is perfect for travel and beginner users in general. Yes, this toy is easy to hide if needed.

Total length- 5 1/2"
Insertable length- 4 1/2"
Battery cap (at the end)- 1" long which features shiny sparkly gem like diamonds.

More advanced users may need a bigger size, but the toy could work for just about anybody.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The settings for the vibrations did not work good at all to me; it seems dysfunctional and weird that the button at the bottom to turn it on does not work to turn it off as well or to even make it stronger (the stronger vibe is not even very strong at all). You have to undo some of the bottom cap to open it a little bit which is very annoying to deal with. I will more than likely not use this item again, but again, it is very cute in design.

There is no noise hardly and that makes it convienent for some who live with others and such.

Care and Maintenance

It is easy to care for this toy, and the cleaning for it is simple. You just use hot water and soap. It says it is compatible with any lube, so try it for yourself.

Packaging

The packaging for this item was simple. The Groovies Wave comes in a plastic container that pops open on the top and two sides and hinges at the bottom. It has a paper with directions and how this toy contains "8 functions", I personally do not have any idea what these are because there is no "WOW" that was strong vibe to it at all, and it all felt the same to me.

It is waterproof and 5.5" long. The directions on the back say the following:
- Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included)
- Wash product thoroughly before and after each use. We recommend the use of a toy cleaner such as safe suds. However, warm soapy water may be used as well
- Do not use on any open wound, skin laceration, or swollen or inflamed area
- Discontinue use if pain or discomfort develops

I give this product 1 1/2 stars for the color and design. Otherwise, it did nothing for me just as 2 or 3 other toys have done that I have received.

I give this product 1.5 stars for the color and design. Otherwise, it was no good for me personally. Vibrations did nothing but annoy me because it did not get any stronger, and it is very hard to figure out!

Experience

I used this product once, and that was the last time I will use it too probably; as I said, it did nothing for me.
Follow-up commentary
Still does nothing useful except to sit in my closet with its gems pretty much; I have no use for it so I am not sure why I got it.

    • Depends on what kind you are looking for (clitoral, g-spot, combination). I would suggest figuring out what kind you want. You can filter the product listings by that type and then sort by rating. Check out the reviews. If you can narrow it down to a few that you like, you can post a comparative discussion to the forum to get some additional feedback.
    • That's a really vague question. If you're just getting started, I would recommend any toy made up of a body-friendly material (such as silicone) and familiarize yourself with what toys are made of and the pros and cons of each type of material. The more hygienic materials tend to cost more, but they are worth it in the end because they will last longer and are more body-friendly.

      What do you like in the way of toys? If you're not sure, the "vibrators" section of EdenFantasys will allow you to choose from and narrow your selection down to dual-action vibes, clitoral stimulators, anal vibrators, double penetration vibes, and a lot more.   • Groovie Waves not working?
    • Are other people having problems with the Groovie Waves spontaneously quitting? I received it and attempted to use it as directed but I barely got it inserted before it sputtered twice and died. I've been doing my kegels but I don't think I'm THAT good yet ;) Just curious if others are having problems.
    • Mine worked fine.. hasn't given me any trouble and I've had it a couple of weeks. (knock on wood!) hehe!
    • Mine seems to be doing just dandy still :D
