I admit my fascination with wanting to try the Mia was because it charges via USB port. I didn't even care if this thing was a piece of crap, I was so intrigued with not having to buy batteries and its discreet design.
This thing is not a piece of crap. Definitely not. This lovely little lady plugs right into the port on my laptop or I can use the extender cable (included). The cap comes off to reveal the USB charger and easily pops back on when you're done charging. The Mia was fully charged within 2 hours. I've used it on several occasions (solo) and have only had to charge it the one time. (I've had it for a little over a month now.)
Complete with a storage pouch, the Mia will fit in your pocket or your purse. It's no bigger than a tube of mascara. And it could easily be mistaken for just that..or maybe a lipstick/lipgloss. Without the cap on it just looks like a jump drive. And it's cute!
The Mia is not the most powerful of vibrators but it definitely has enough power to get the job done. As I mentioned above, I've used it during several solo sessions and easily reach orgasm within a few minutes. There are four different settings that can easily be changed while using the toy.
I think the Mia would be ideal for placing on the clit while on top during sex. But I've yet to try this myself...because my computer is downstairs and I keep forgetting to take it upstairs with me *makes mental note - take Mia to bed*
Super simple to clean. I just used toy cleaner and a cloth with some warm water to wipe it down. Then I stashed it away in the storage pouch. Smooth, plastic design means no nooks/crannies to clean.

The Mia's sleek, portable design really makes this toy a winner. But the best feature really is that it charges via USB. Genius!
I've used the Mia several times since my initial review and I like it more every time I use it. For such a small, discreet toy it's really gets the job done and is relatively quiet.

Mias USB cover cap

I've done a little reading up on the Mia and found that many people were having problems with the cap falling off during use. Since Mia is not waterproof, I wanted to know if this was a defect or is this is something that happens to the Mias over time. I am looking to get one for my girlfriend, but wanted to know more about this problem before I purchase it. Also, I read that LELO has made improvements to Mias motor. Is that the only improvement that was made? Or does anyone have the same problem with the cap falling off on the new Mia?

So I see there's no way you could use this one while it's charging, and apparently the same goes for the Fairy Baby. Does anyone know of one you can use while it's charging via USB?

I think the We-Vibe Tango might be usable since it looks like it's got a really long extension cord. But I don't own one.

I'd be worried about the risk of electrocution. Also, the power draw of simultaneous use and charging might fry your USB port.

I just went on the website and looked, I'm hoping that the one I order will be the new and improved one, because they said that they started making them better as of February. Now I'm even more excited to try it out :)
