Did Vega and I bond..uh not so much

Overall, the Vega would be perfect for anyone looking for a smaller size vibe. It does have a decent stimulation with moderate vibrations. Easy to use, easy to hold, but if you are looking for a powerful toy, sadly the Vega is not the one for you.

Use

The Vega G-spot vibrator by JoyDivision is perfect for anyone looking for a vibe toy that is extremely easy to use, easy to control and stylish all in one. It is a visually pleasing blue color, soft to the touch, has a dial control at the base and is very flexible considering its size. I believe this toy benefits both women and men depending on the user. I also think that at its highest setting it would be very comfortable for someone new to toys in general. On that note, anyone who likes their toys to have a extreme or intense vibration might want to skip on this vibe. The Vega stimulates just about anywhere you want, just keep in mind that if you share this toy I recommend you use a condom. I also advise you to use caution around the anal area if you are not familiar with toys of this nature.

Material / Texture

This vibe is made from silicone, which means it's one of if not the safest toy as far as materials go. It has a very soft, smooth velvet feel throughout the entire toy aside from the base. It does not have any sort of taste or smell to it. The toy does have some flexibility from the middle to the tip. It would be in your favor to use a lube with this toy as it might be somewhat tight to insert if not properly lubricated. Also with this toy I received a sample packet of lube from the company. It's a great gesture and also a good way to start off on using a new toy.
    • Flexible
    • No odor
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The Vega is supposedly designed as a g-spot stimulating vibrator. With the size of this toy though, I find it hard to believe. I didn't receive any g-spot stimulation but the vibrations did feel good. The design is phallic shaped but not realistic in anyway. I'm on the fence about the size though, sometimes a smaller vibe toy is perfect but others might miss the feeling of being filled with a larger toy. Once you receive this toy, the packaging makes you realize the size of this vibe. It would be perfect for traveling since it is small, also making it easier to store.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Vega is extremely easy to control and even easier to use. The dial located at the base is the sole piece to controlling the toy. Turning the dial all the way to the right means you have turned the toy on, you're increasing the intensity with each turn and finally you have reached the highest level. Turning back all the way means you have turned the Vega off. The highest may not be high enough for more advanced users. The vibrations are mostly felt towards the tip of the toy and sadly the base feels somewhat hollow when being used, but this also makes it great for clitoral stimulation. Also if you squeeze hard by the dial the vibes stop, releasing it the vibes continue. Now I don't know if this is a defect but it doesn't get in the way so it's not a deal breaker. Uses 2AAA batteries which are located in the dial. Also, the Vega is almost silent, even at its highest setting, making it perfect for discreet situations.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Not enough variety

Care and Maintenance

Since it is made from silicone, it does collect lint and dust if not properly cared for. This toy does come with a silver drawstring pouch for storage. The packaging does state that the Vega is water-resistant but doesn't exactly say it's waterproof. The dial does have a waterproof seal. The first time I used it, I did just wipe it down with anti-bacterial toy wipes and then sprayed it with some anti-bacterial toy cleaner. Then another time I did try to wash it carefully as to not get the base wet. After it dried I looked at the battery compartment and I noticed that the seal inside the dial was kinda wet. So your best bet is to not use water directly with it.
    • Easy to store
    • Hard to clean

Packaging

Loved the packaging. Firstly because this toy does come from Germany, It has instructions written in about 4 different languages including English all over the cute shiny, silver box. Earlier, I mentioned you would greatly realize the size difference about the Vega from the packaging. They apparently use the same box for all their vibes and since the Vega is from the smallest line of toys, it looks really, really, small inside the plastic holder. They also include 2 different instruction booklets with the toy, which has small descriptions about their other toys and also a silver drawstring pouch for travel and storage. Also included is that small packet of Aqua glide lube that I mentioned earlier.
    • Not discreet
    • Recyclable
    • Very informative
Follow-up commentary
Alot of hype for not much of a vibe. I don't have any use for this, which is sad because I really liked the collection it was marketed with. It's lack of power even on the lowest setting and it's small size was very dissapointing.

Why do you recommend using a condom for sharing? I think as long as you sterilize with bleach between partners, you'd be perfectly safe. Condoms are a good idea if sharing a porous toy, i.e. jelly.

    Good review otherwise!

I've got the voyage, another one of the mini vibes in this line and although mine didn't have the same defect as you describe there was definitely an issue with the battery making proper contact

Thanks for the feedback, with the condom, just rather be safe then sorry but your right with sterilization the users should be fine, Love Buzz, yeah I think they might have an issue with their battery compartment.
