Didn't like it

I purchased this toy, despite the fact that it was slightly pricey. I was drawn to it because of the fact that you were supposed to be able to use it while having sex with a partner. Whenever I use a clitoral vibrator during sex, it usually works best for me to have my partner enter from behind so that I can use the vibrator on my clit without it getting in the way of penetration. I purchased this toy because it was supposed to be able to just nestle in where it needed to be, while my partner was on top. When I tried it, I was disappointed. The vibrations were not strong enough to really do much for me. The Layaspot did not stay put either. I kept having to reach down during sex and reposition it, because it would slide off of me. I finally just gave up. The small amount of vibration that it was putting out was not worth the awkwardness and interruption of having to continuously reposition it. This toy has been banished to my "toys that never get used" bag in the back of my closet. I would not recommend it. I usually love Fun Factory items, but not this one.
The idea behind this toy is wonderful, but it just fell short for me. It could possibly be that it just didn't curve correctly to my anatomy and would work wonderfully for someone else. However, even if it stayed in place for me, the low level of vibration just didn't do it for me.
The one positive thing that I can say about this toy is that it is definitely a quality made toy. The material feels nice to the touch and is obviously not a cheap material. The toy also feels sturdy and well-made.

Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

So, I just posted a review of this toy on my blog and and am rereading some reviews here. I am seeing some discrepencies and have a few questions for you.
Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?
Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).
Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?

Thanks for the honest review. Sorry it wasn't all it was supposed to be. Have you tried the Bcurious. It seems to work well for what you are looking for, at least in cowgirl style.
