Dual action infrared massager sex toy review
Overall, I think the Dual Action Infrared Massager is a good, solid vibe for the price. The heating element is more of a gimmick in regards to sexual pleasure, but it does nicely in letting the vibe pull double-duty as a pinpoint muscle massager. The Dual Action Infrared Massager is a good little vibe for the price. It is made of hard, smooth plastic, and is a pleasing length and girth. The head is nicely tapered for easy insertion. It is also a multi-speed vibe which ranges from a quiet hum to a significantly strong vibration.
The unique feature on this vibe, however, is the infrared heated tip, which actually can become quite warm if you give it time to heat up. The tip glows a bright red when the heating feature is in use, and contrasts nicely with the black shaft of the vibe. I personally preferred the heating element when used for external stimulation; internally, I really couldn’t feel much heat, though I think it might have stimulated the blood flow in my vaginal tissue and made it more sensitive.
The vibe takes 2 C batteries, which give it a decent amount of power. It does not have quite as much vibrating power as some other vibes that take C batteries, but I think that’s because the heating element drains some of the power. Still, from low to high settings, this one will not disappoint with its vibrating capabilities.
I have two complaints about the Dual Action Infrared Massager. The first is that the battery compartment tends to pop open rather easily when you turn off the vibrating and/or heating features. The vibe is controlled by a simple dial at the base, but the open/close feature is located too close to the on/off feature. My second complaint is that this vibe is really quite noisy, and even tends to rattle some around the heated tip. This is definitely not one I would recommend to someone who wants to be discreet!

Well, I've been fortunate enough not to have many of the problems with this vibe that many other reviewers have had (ie. mine never got too hot or started smoking!). Of course, I have a very high heat tolerance, so that may explain why I never found the heat uncomfortable. Also, because I did not feel the heat particularly arousing for genital play, I've tended to use it more for pinpointing muscle spasms and the like, so I probably haven't had it running as long as some of the other reviewers. I still think it's a good value for the price, offering a little something extra than your normal traditional plastic vibe. I'd just recommend monitoring its use carefully and using it somewhat sparingly if you're afraid of it burning out. I've had mine for at least a year, and still no problems. Works WONDERS on the temples and forehead and back of the neck for migraines, by the way!
