Dual Action Infrared Massager by California Exotics is designed to be an experience to remember with dual action vibration and infrared heat.

It's best used externally as it's too rigid for any sort of pleasurable g-spot stimulation. The vibration and infrared heat can be used independently or simultaneously for foreplay and to stimulate the erogenous zones.

This massager will work well for beginners or for advanced users that enjoy the traditional style vibrator.

I firmly believe that this infrared massager is a great start for anyone looking to branch out into temperature play safely as it doesn't leave any room for trial and error, making it impossible to get too hot to use.

This massager is made of a hard, smooth, black non-porousplastic that earns it an eight out of ten on Eden's Material Safety Guide. It's made of a food-grade material , it's hypo-allergenic, latex-free and phthalates-free.

The tip of the massager where the infrared heat comes into play is separated from the shaft of the toy by a plastic ring, but other than that there is no texture to speak of. It's completely smooth and has no visible seams.

This toy isn't sticky and has no discernible scent or taste, even straight from the box.

The lack of texture is a turn off for me, because I like toys that have a little something extra to them, but it's a great piece for anyone that likes really smooth toys.

Dual Action Infrared Massager is a standard vibrator with a twist; It has a glowing infrared tip. It reminds me a little bit of ET: The Extra-Terrestrial when the infrared portion is turned on. Other than the glowing tip, there's nothing noteworthy about this massage toy.

It's 7 inches long with a 4 1/2 inch circumference so it's not the most discreet toy out there, but it's easily tucked away into a drawer or toy box. It could easily be stored in a suitcase or larger purse/bag for travel, just be sure to take out the batteries first.

This toy has a couple functions. First it's a vibrator, second it's an infrared massager. These functions can be used independently or simultaneously for a good time either way.

The controls are located at base of the toy and are operated by turning the sectioned dial to the right. Pop in two C batteries, screw the cap on and turn the top dial on the base to the right to line up the arrows for either infrared light or vibration.

Turning the top of the base to match up with the infrared feature will turn the red light on. Turn the lower part of the base to operate the vibrator at the same time. Turning the top half of the base all the way to the far right, matching the arrows up with just the vibrator function will shut off the infrared light and only the vibrator will operate.

The vibrator is what you'd expect in a standard dial-base vibrator. It operates from low to high, gradually getting faster the further you turn the dial. It's easily bumped and changed, so be careful when using it.

I recommend leaving the cardboard insert inside the toy when inserting the batteries because without it, it practically rumbles while it's in use. It's still loud even if you leave the cardboard in, but it is muffled a bit. This can definitely be heard through closed doors so if discretion is a must, play some music or wait until you're alone to use this toy.

It's not waterproof so take extra care when washing it not to get any water in the base. Always screw the cap on tightly and don't bring this in the shower.

This toy is very easy to care for because it's plastic. Wipe it down with an isopropyl alcohol or toy cleaner wipe or wash it with hot water and an anti-bacterial soap. Towel or air-dry and store in any cool, dry place where you store toys.

It's compatible with any water, silicone or oil-based lubricant so grab your favorite and use it freely.

While this toy is non-porous, it's still safer to use a toy cover or condom when sharing it with others.

Dual Action Infrared Massager comes in non-discreet, bulky cardboard box with pictures of the toy on the outside and a list of all it's features. It's great for storing the toy in after use, but not for other things and most likely not for gifts. There were no user instructions in the box, but there was an insert in the battery compartment that showed a diagram of how to insert the batteries. It's completely recyclable if you decide to toss the box after it's open.

I was really excited to get this toy because I like interesting vibrators. I opened it almost immediately and was disappointed by the fact that it takes C batteries and I almost never have them in the house. I made a trip to the store the next day and picked some up so I could test this baby out.

I'm genuinely less than impressed. The infrared light comes on immediately, but it takes a long time to actually heat up and I'm all about instant gratification so by the time it was fully heated, I was almost done and completely over the temperature play aspect of this toy.

If I had more patience, I'd probably enjoy the functions together, but I have yet to experience that. I really enjoy the heating element portion though and I often use it after I've used the vibrator. It feels great when rubbed against my skin after an orgasm and it makes me feel all tingly and warm.
