Look up Elegance in the dictionary and it says: grace and refinement of style. Open the box and hold this vibrator in your hand and you immediately get a sense of how aptly named this device is (I hesitate to call this a toy). The Elegance is the perfect balance of quality materials, minimalist design, advanced technology and reliable performance.


The Elegance is about nine inches overall and the insertable length is about 5.5 inches. You can go deeper if you wish, you're just getting close to the control panel. At its widest insertable point, the Elegance is about 1 and 7/16th inches in diameter. It is even wider at the control panel. It is about one inch in diameter at its narrowest point.


The majority of the Elegance is made from body-friendly silicone. It has a somewhat velvety texture which gets deliciously slick with water-based lube. (Please do not use silicone lubes as they will cause the Elegance to deteriorate.) Because the Elegance is made from silicone it is non-porous. This makes it suitable fore sharing between partners and swapping between orifices. Before sharing or swapping, just be sure to sterilize the Elegance. Soaking the insertable end in a bleach or alcohol solution will work well. The Elegance is splash proof, but probably should not be submerged for more than a moment, I can't say with certainty how the control panel will do with extended exposure to water. Unlike solid silicone toys, the Elegance should not be boiled or run through your dishwasher due to the electronics inside. Antibacterial soap and warm water are fine for general cleaning.


The Elegance has a bulbous tip which enhances the slight curve of its shaft. This makes it easy to focus on the g-spot or p-spot. The Elegance also has six concentric grooves which add some sensation on insertion and when rubbing on stuff like a clitoris. The curve of the Elegance also allows for greater control while playing.


The Elegance has a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The benefit to this type of battery is it does not develop a memory so you can recharge it at any time. When the Elegance comes out of the box the initial charge can take up to 8 hours. Subsequent charges should only take about three hours. You get four hours of play time for each three hour charge which is pretty amazing. Standby time is about 90 days according to the manufacturer. You will know it is time to charge the Elegance when the lights on the control panel glow red.


The most amazing feature of the Elegance is the dual motors. There is one in the tip and one near the control panel. There are five different vibration modes available with the Elegance. One is predominantly the tip. Another is mostly the one near the controller. There is also one that balances vibrations between the two. The other two shift vibrations between the two motors, either fast or slow. Each mode also has a strength adjustment allowing you to choose any intensity from wow to whoa. These are all easily changed with the control panel. Each change is accompanied by a flash of the LED lights behind the panel. You can also lock the buttons by holding down the “<” and “>>” at the same time for five seconds to keep it from being activated in your drawer. The motors are quiet and quite powerful. When inserted there is really very noise from the Elegance at all.


The Elegance comes in a very nice box with a drawer to hold the charger. Also included are a useful manual and a storage bag.


Playing with the Elegance is a thrill. Both Mrs. Peg and I liked the modes that alternated between the two motors best. Applying vibrations to my prostate while alternating vibrations to my anus was extremely pleasurable. Mrs. Peg was able to alternate between her g-spot and her labia. For me this wasn't the type of thing that would make me cum, but it really felt incredible. For Mrs. Peg it did lead to a g-spot orgasm which was helped by a little clitoral play.
