This toy is designed for pelvic muscle toning, for which it is superb. It's very import to have a strong pelvic floor (for men & women!) because it stabilizes the pelvis and supports the organs of the lower abdominal cavity. A weak pelvic floor can lead to problems like diminished sexual enjoyment, a dropping of the organs into the pelvic muscles, and diminished back support. Kegel exercises are great because you can do them anywhere, any time, and they're virtually undetectable. However, positive reinforcement is always the best! Feeling that you are contracting the PC muscles while using the Isis is a lovely way to know that you are indeed working the appropriate muscles. Clitoral stimulation while using the Isis is also an enjoyable way to exercise, adding more intense contractions of the pelvic floor. It's a great piece for beginners and advanced alike, since you can never have tight enough pelvic muscles!

The Isis is made out of acrylic, which is a practical alternative to glass. It is rated a 9 for material safety, which is always an important factor. It's odorless and smooth to touch, and hard. The hardness of the material makes it easier to determine the strength of you contractions by the intensity of the sensation of the toy. The texture is good for beginners and advanced users alike.

I enjoy a well made product, but I enjoy even more a well made product that is aesthetically appeasing. I like the symmetrical design with the centered ball - which I've come to find out is quite enjoyable in use. It has a translucent hue of a pinkish purple, giving it a little flare. It is relatively small in size, measuring in at 6" long with a 3" circumference. It is a very discrete toy, being it makes no noise and is small in size. It can easily be hidden in a purse, travel bag, even a coat pocket if you so desire.

I think the simplistic yet effective design is what I enjoy the most. It's a handy tool to have in your tool box. The product material is also a great point to re-mention. It is important to be cautious about what goes into our bodies, especially today, in a world where there is so much alternative material that is not very safe at all. The only downside, which I have not personally crossed, is that I have read that it is prone to breaking if dropped on hard surface.

It is an acrylic piece, which is smooth and nonporous. It be cleaned easily with soap and hot water, or with a sex toy cleaner. The material is supposed to be nearly indestructible, but can scratch. Like I mentioned, I have read reviews on this product breaking due to a butterfingers incident. I often have the case of the drop-sys, so if this event where to occur and ended poorly, I'll be sure to update everyone.

It came with a little storage pouch, which was a see-through mesh. It did not really appeal to me.

The Isis is meant to be an exerciser, which it does well, but when coupled with clitoral stimulation things can get a little hot.

I tend to use this as a precursor to solo play: I use it to get my muscles warmed up, and to become in tune with sensations inside of me. As I have mentioned before, coupled with clitoral stimulation, this toy gets me very aroused.
